In recent years Hollister has become known as an agricultural center due to its production of almonds, grapes, pistachios, figs, tomatoes and other vegetables. In 2000 HollISTER trademarked the term "California Hippie Capital." Today it is home to many businesses catering to cultural tourists such as June Bloomfield's store which sells ethnic clothing made in China or India; Anthony Bourdain's restaurant No Reservations; motorcycles from Harley Davidson; yoga studios; art galleries;and more!
