Bipedalism first arose in the late Paleocene epoch, about 45 million years ago. At that time, bipedal dinosaurs resembled some of the earlier mesatosaurs (mesa-headed dinosaurs), but had two hindlimbs and a walking spine. The first bipedal hominins—the humanlike creatures who evolved from Australopithecus afarensis—were probably the first to use their two hindlimbs forwalking and climbing. In recent decades, researchers have discovered evidence that bipedalism may have been more common than previously thought. For example, they have found fossil evidence of humans walking on two legs in Siberia and China, as well as evidence of modern humans carrying goods on their heads when traveling through tall grasses in Africa. Additionally, there are many ancient animal specimens that show signs of being able to walk on two legs. These include Dinosauria (dinosaur fossils), which are made up of teeth from both land and water animals that lived during the late Paleocene epoch; and Pachycephalosaurus (a close relative of our contemporary velociraptor), which was unearthed in Utah in 1912. Eventually, we will likely be able to learn more about why bipedalism emerged and how it functioned as an important part of human evolution. By about 50,000 years ago, some individuals began to walk on four legs and use a spear as their main weapon. Unfortunately for these early bipedal humans, they were at a disadvantage when it came to war because they could not reach high off the ground to fight enemies effectively. The beginning of the modern era of bipedalism was marked by the invention of the horse by farmers in the 6th century BC. The horse allowed men to transport goods and troops more effectively than before and made war much easier for commanders. With horses in hand, armies became more mobile and able to conquer new territory faster than ever before. However, despite this advantages, bipedalism slowly started losing its popularity among soldiers due to various reasons such as health problems brought on by being constantly on your feet (especially during combat). In fact, only around 30% of all engagements between European armies took place using bipeds during World War I alone! This is likely because many commanders believed that infantrymen were better equipped and less vulnerable than cavalrymen when it came to battle strategy. Nevertheless, progress was slow until the late 19th century when scientists finally developed methods for manufacturing both human beings and horses with sufficient symmetry so that they could walk equally well on both legs simultaneously – thus enabling men to lead armies once again with an advantage over enemy forces! Settlement began with Mexican ranchers who leased land from the Californios in 1847-1848. In 1851, A&P Stores bought a majority interest in the rancho system from three men: George W. Griggs (founder and first president), Charles Sprague (president) and James Fenton (vice president). On May 4, 1861, during America's Civil War, General Josiah Bartlett invaded Nevada Territory under orders from President Abraham Lincoln after discovering gold near Nome; he bypassed both Fort Bridger on the far south side of Lake Tahoe and Fort Nevada north of Reno because it could not be reached by his military forces on horseback or via wagon wheels—an event that embarrassed Lincoln as much as it did Bartlett because he had promised himself to cross over any open toeholds discovered before November 1st if Gold was found then within 60 days! In 1865 Father Ignacio López founded Our Lady of Mount Carmelite parish which served residents of the townships surrounding San Bernardino County which included Hollister proper until 1872 when these lands were annexed by Riverside County. Father Lopez also established a school at Hollister in 1870 serving students from San Bernardino County only until 1875 when classes moved to Redlands due to lack of space at Mount Carmelite Schoolhouse downtown! HollISTER COLLEGE was founded by Rev Dr Sidney Rigdon in 1907 with four courses offered: philosophy/philosophy sciences/physiology/maths & science/science studies (now earth science).
