This merger created what is now known as Armory Holster Works which continued producing high quality holsters until 1986 when it was sold to M&P Shield Firearms Corporation who continue making them today under the name M&P Shield holster products Incorporated! One ofArmory Holster Works most famous products was their A1 model 1911 pistol holster which became wildly popular due to its simple design, comfortable fitment, efficient grip carriers/pistolsarms systems etc.. Hillsborough is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 27,813 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest city in Orange County after Anaheim and is part of the Greater Los Angeles Area. Hillsborough business and industrial districts are located to the north of downtown and east of Interstate 5; these districts contain many companies that have their headquarters in downtown or near I-5. The first European settler in what is now Hillsborough was José de la Cruz who arrived on horseback from Santa Ana on September 15, 1776. From his rancho (land grant) Rancho El Cuchillo, La Hacienda de la Puente he acquired 2,500 acres (800 hectare) of land south of what is now Downtown San Bernardino and east of Interstate 5 between 1807 and 1810. This property became known as Rancho Aguirre y Costilla which later was renamed Rancho Hillsborough due to John A. Hill's purchase from Manuel Nieto in 1853. John Fenton purchased 1 million acres (400 km2) adjoining Hill's land from William Cranch for $1 per acre ($25 per kilometer). The new town site was designated by a party led by Captains George Hearn and Jens Christensen on February 10th,1854 during a visit to Southern California overland with wagonloads of supplies for General Don Carlos Villa during his attacks against Mexican forces besieging Bakersfield under Ulysses S Grant’s command at Cerritos Pass. At this time it consisted only of about 160 people living in adobe huts along South Main Street near where Pico Boulevard meets I-5.. In 1865 Captain George Hearn organized an expedition to explore southern Californias potential for irrigation water through canals with routes leading thence into central Valley via San Gabriel Valley and Yucca Valley.. After conducting surveys across more than 500 miles (800 km) they began construction on the first canal route which ran from Aguirre Canyon near present day Chino to Promontory Summit near Stockton; it was completed on November 7th,1867 just prior to American annexation of California In 1870 Captain George Hearn purchased an additional 1 million acres (400 km2), including present day Castle Rock neighborhood adjacent to the original town site., making it one large tract that spanned most or all of today's Hawthorne Avenue corridor from South Main Street southward across McCullough Avenue into northeast Riverside County This purchase made possible development around today's businesses areas such as North Torrance Boulevard/Pinecrest Drive/Hawthorne Ave./Riverside Walk beyond what would have been possible without access to open space associated with this vast tract . Hillsborough experienced rapid growth following its incorporation as a city on January 14th, 1914 when Mayor Winton Harshbarger approved plans for a library, park district and other public services within 25 years . On November 12th 1915 City Council passed Resolution No . 6 providing for annexation by Riverside County On October 9th 1917 Mayor Harshbarger died suddenly leaving office less than two months before scheduled elections . His widow took control but faced numerous challenges including opposition within her own political party over whether she should continue running for office while her husband’s estate remained unclaimed .. On May 9th 1919 City Council voted unanimously approving annexation by Riverside County again .. Incorporation as a city resulted not only in significant improvements but also opportunities for Economic Development Corporation development projects such as heavy industry parks like Eastdale Park northwest corner I-5 & Durham Road oil refinery relocation

Hillsborough is a small town in San Joaquin County, California, United States. The population was 2,615 at the 2010 census. Hillsborough was founded in 1856 by settlers from Sacramento and other nearby towns when the Central Pacific Railroad came through on its way to connect Stockton with Fresno. It was named for Major General George Bancroft Hill of the United States Army Corps of Engineers. The first store in Hillsborough opened in 1857 and the first post office in Hillsborough opened on February 15, 1861. The first school in Hillsborough was built on present-day Main Street in 1865 and it served as a daycare until 1959. The first annexation of any town within San Joaquin County occurred in 1873 when the city of Grass Valley annexed Hillsborough. In 1906, the community experienced a devastating fire that destroyed most of their buildings and killed over 25 people. The fire is still considered one of the deadliest natural disasters ever recorded in California. In 1924, A&P grocery store east of town became open to shoppers after being donated by local banker Harry Jepson. In 1951, construction began on what would become America's largest shopping mall - called "The Grove" - which quickly became a major center for retail shopping and dining around the state capital cities across California. It closed down completely during the 1990s due to high development costs but has since been reborn as an active commercial area providing jobs for locals and tourists alike throughout summertime .
The first permanent European settlement in Hillsborough was a group of Spanish Franciscans who founded the mission San Francisco de Asís on December 6, 1769. The mission was abandoned in 1821 and its land became part of Rancho Tejon. In 1835, Rancho Tejon was sold to Mexican ranchers who named it Rinconada de las Pulgas. On October 9, 1849, American troops burned down the Mission San Francisco de Asís to prevent secularization which would have allowed it to be used as a ranch house by American settlers.
