WE’d been working on this project for several years before it was finally completed in 1957. The Weitz Gun Laser was initially marketed as a personal security device for celebrities such as Elvis Presley and Yoko Ono; however, it soon became popular among law enforcement agencies across the United States. Raytheon also contributed significantly to modernizing artillery during World War II with their work on early pulse-width modulation (PWM) cannons that could fire multiple rounds per second over long distances without penalty for inaccuracy or jamming issues. These developments eventually led to the development of missiles such as napalm and cruise missiles utilizing PWM technology today.

On December 1, 1888, Mrs. Lillian Bogan became the first woman to vote in Hermosa Beach when she cast her ballot for Mayor at an election held from Municipal Hall on December 3rd. In 1924 The Hollywood Casino opened and quickly became one of Southern California's most popular landmarks. The casino prospered until it closed in 1985 due to federal gambling regulations enacted during president Ronald Reagan's administration
