As part of this expansion they started building housing units onsite but because much of what they had build wasn't usable due to fire hazards or weather conditions they sold all their property off starting in 2001 and have been slowly demolishing everything ever since without warning or consultation with anyone who might be impacted by that action - leaving behind large open areas where nothing will grow for years on end except wildflowers that may eventually die from neglect or lack of watering
