Hawthorne, California is a small town located in the Mojave Desert of southern California. The population was 3,500 at the 2010 census. According to the United States Census Bureau, Hawthorne has a total area of 2.8 square miles (6.2 km²), all of it land. Hawthorne began as a small farming community in 1887 and grew rapidly due to its proximity to Nevada's goldfields and its location on the route between Los Angeles and Bakersfield. By 1905 Hawthorne had over 1,000 residents and was part of unincorporated Kern County. In 1912 Hawthorne became a city and today has an estimated population of around 15,000 people who live in 9 districts: downtown, parts of East Hollywood, Midtown/Northwest Hollywood, Willowbrook/Monterey Park/Canyon Country, Panorama City/South Pasadena Hills, Playa Vista (formerly known as North Beach), South Pasadena and Northgate Heights. The first optical equipment in Hawthorne was installed by dentist Drs Jens Heuer und Wilhelm Kuhn in 1892 while they were working at their office on Main Street. The two men developed what is now considered the first digital camera that could be used for photography or videography using light sensitive film back then called Kinematograph Camera No 1 which was made from silver nitrate crystals coated with lead arsenide which acted as an image sensor! Today this camera can still be found inside some old watch factories across America that are still being operated today! Some other early pioneers in Optical Technology also include Nikolai Grishin who invented modern photoelectric cells; Willis Emmett who developed an early form of vacuum tube amplifier; Samuel Morse who developed Morse Code; Augustus Woodward who created Woodward’s Analytical Engine which played card games.; Edward Goudsmit designed and built the first practical electronic switchblade; Charles Wheatstone invented demagnetization techniques for electricity distribution networks.; Wernher von Braun designed both space rockets & reflector launching systems for American Astronauts during World War II.; etc., etc., etc….

Hawthorne is known for its rich history and culture which has been passed down from its founders and residents. The community was founded by John C. Fremont in 1847 as part of the Rancho San Bernardino Mexican land grant. The name "Hawthorne" comes from two early settlers, Hiram Hawthorne and his sonJonathan Hawthorne, who first landed in what is now Hawthorne on November 15, 1847. They named their new tract of land after General Nathaniel Hawthorn who had led an American army against Mexico in 1846-48 during the Mexican-American War. In 1850, Jonathan's father died leaving him with 8 acres (3 ha) of adjoining property to farm out and he continued to use the name "Hawthorne" until his death in 1892. In 1907 a group of pioneers purchased 514 acres (225 ha) of land east of town along the Kern River and began to build a community called Fernley that would become one of largest settlements west of the Rocky Mountains. The original leaders were Harry Fenton Hastings (founder), Jens Thorolfsen (manager), George Hines (leader), Ole Hanson (founder), Alfred Sloan (manager). In 1922 when oil became available onshore there was pressure for development nearby but progress was slow because transportation options were difficult to come by and growing prices resulted in few new homes being built until well into the 1960s On July 16, 1951 an earthquake struck southern Kern County killing over 50 people including many members of Hawthorne society who used their homes for storage or meeting purposes before being destroyed or damaged by subsequent shaking The Hayward Fault Zone runs through downtown Hawthorne providing evidence that movement along this fault has occurred throughout much OFHSA history

This primitive form of photography appeared in 1795 when Nicholas-Jacques Conte published A New System for Taking Photographs Using Codolumine Oil Pipes. However, it wasn’t until 1839 that an efficient photographic camera was developed with a metal plate placed over an image sensor which allowed shutter speed control from outside the camera body! The development of photography required longer exposure times than could be achieved with traditional oil lamps so early photographers relied on gas lighting which provided short exposures at high intensities. In 1855 David Rittenhouse patented an improved version of his gas lighting system which became known as daylight photography! With Daylight Photography photos could be taken at all hoursof day without relying on torches or lanterns! By 1880 images had become sufficiently consistent across different types of photographic paper to allow Pictorialism to take hold! With this shift in power photographers started capturingmotion pictures where movement was key to success! During World War II there was a great need for optics due to wartime rationing and shortageszonings such as Manhattan during 1942 when almost everyone living within 500 feet had access to movie theaters
