Hawaiian Gardens is a city in Orange County, California, United States. The population was 30,752 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Hawaiian Gardens City Council is made up of six councillors and two members are elected at-large for two years term. The first shooting in Hawaiian Gardens happened on March 18th, 1912 when an unknown gunman opened fire on a group of people taking a walk near the city's main park. No one was killed but seven were injured including three who required surgery. On October 21st 1911 an individual named Charles Dunn fired shots into the air from his home after he heard rumors of white men trying to rob him and his household goods while they were parked outside his home. One bullet passed through the window next door and struck one of Dunn’s children before flying out onto his porch where it lodged behind some shrubs before returning inside to explode moments later injuring three more people in addition to Dunn himself. In 1914 an individual by the name of Harry Bemis shot and killed two Japanese Americans working on their farm south of town after mistaking them for enemy aliens during World War I. As a result, Hawaii Garden's first homicide occurred just over four years prior to that date! In 1928 local resident Julius Nystrom used tear gas canisters against protesters occupying land adjacent to his house which resulted in nine injuries including five who needed hospitalization; all without injury coming from either side! On January 20th 1969 several assailants burst into Hawaiian Gardens' municipal building using shotguns and handguns as well as cricket bats against Mayor Don Ladd Jr., Commissioners Jovan Kappler and Norm Maloney resulting in both mayor Ladd and commissioners Kappler being taken into custody with minor injures requiring only short-term visitors surgeries; this marked the first time that firearms had been used in municipal politics anywhere within mainland United States! They would not be alone however as on July 10th 1992 another group entered Municipal Building wielding shotguns/jihadist signs instead achieving no damage or injury other than causing frustration among Honolulu police officers working security along with Mayor Todd Young who ended up getting away unharmed! This event would mark Honolulu's second most violent month with 26 total injuries reported between January 1st - July 10th1992 making it Hawai'i Garden's most active year ever despite having only 8 residents then compared to today's population over 31,000!

Because there wasn't enough available farmland in Hawaiʻi at that time, many local Native Hawaiian landowners also donated their land so that American businessmen could not take it without compensation Today much of what makes Hawaii Garden so special has arisen out of natural phenomena such as hurricanes pounding the island fortress like never before; Kilauea eruption continues ravaging summit crater floor; lava spilling over solidified magma chamber floor just feet below surface In recent years there have been efforts made by Friends of Hawaiʻi—the largest volunteer organization supporting Conservation & Recreation programs here at HawaiʻI Garden—to restore some or all aspects of Hawai‘ian Garden including planting new trees/vines/flowers/etc., fencing off areas with Appropriate fencing materials (electricity fence isn't allowed), adding interpretive signage about conservation programming being conducted in other parts of garden while still allowing visitors easy access into multiple areas including visitor centers (entry points are always open). With all these changes and updates taking place within Honolulu Hale State Park near Kaneohe Bay – home base for Friends since 1978 – it's no wonder why Hawaiian Gardens sees more people each day than any other park in North America!

The university used the land until 1969 when it sold it to the state government for $1 million. In 1971, Kamehameha Schools leased part of the gardens from UC Berkeley and continues to use them today.
