Scope mounts have been around since the 1800s in Hawaii. However, they were brought to California by American missionaries in the early 1900s. The first Scope Mount was built in 1911 at Haleakala National Park. These mounts were designed for use with rifles and shotguns. In 1923, a new type of scope mount was developed called the "Zig-zag" mount. This mount consisted of two circles that were rotated to adjust magnification. The first expansion of the Hawaiian Gardens amusement park was in 1911 when a new building, called the 'Aloha House', was built on what is now Kalakaua Avenue. The Aloha House was originally an all-wooden structure with a thatched roof. In 1922, the park's first electric ride, 'The Islanders', opened. In 1923, the park became part of the newly formed Universal Company and in 1929 it changed its name to California Adventure Park. In 1951, Mount Rushmore National Monument was added to California Adventure Park and in 1964 it became a theme park with itself as its own separate entity known as Hawaii'i World@the Theme Parks. In 2000, The Walt Disney Company merged California Adventure Park with Disneyland Resort and renamed them both Disneyland Resort/California Adventure Park.

Scope mounts, also known as mount systems, typically consist of a threaded barrel shroud with an adjustable upward- or downward-ribbed focuser on the barrel. The mount system is attached to the firearm by means of either screws or welding. The use of scope mounts has been increasing in recent years as shooters have discovered their preference for better accuracy and convenience over traditional open sights. Scope mounts are particularly useful for shotguns because they can be attached directly to the barrel without the need for a separate housing or mount. The first scopemounts were designed by Dr. George Poulson in 1912 while he was working at Winchester Arms Company. He created a design that consisted of a cylindrical frame with two spaced arms that held onto the barrel using screw Threaded barrels could only be used with closed bolt firearms such as pistols and revolvers, these were dubbed "closed bolt rifles" due to this restriction. In 1916, Dr. George Poulson patented his new invention which would become known as the "Poulson Mount". This mount consisted of a metal frame with four spindles that housed two round turrets that had an adjustable ribbed focuser on them (known today as aiming circles). It remained unchanged until 1966 when it was redesignated as the "Poulson Scope Mount". In 1950, Crosman began producing their own scopemounts which were branded under various names including Crosmanscope and Crosman Tactical mounting system (CTS). These mounts featured rotating turrets similar to those found on modern day sniper rifles and other high end optics making them ideal for shotguns where precision is critical. Since then, Crosman's ScopeMount line has continued to grow in popularity culminating in its current form - specifically the Crossfire series - which offers users versatile attachment options including both vertical and horizontal forearm rigs along with multiple cheek welds for fine adjustments between 6 MOA increments down to 1 MOA

Hawaiian Gardens, California is a small town located in Orange County, California. The population was 7,733 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Bernardino- Riverside-Ontario, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first recorded sighting of Hawaiian Gardens was on December 12th 1821 by Captain John Cushing and his crew while sailing in search of a lost hurricane that had struck the coast two days earlier. They were looking for HMS "Pioneer" which had been lost off Kaua'i when they sighted this small island about southeast of Lahaina Harbor. The captain named it Kahoolawe (the Garden). Captain Cook's journal entry from January 17th 1778 noted: "We passed close to this Island, called Kahoolawe, where we saw several huts built with stone and mortar by some Polynesians." In 1881 Hawaiian Gardens became part of the Kingdom of Hawaii following its annexation by the United States. On November 5th 1898 US Marines landed on Kaua'i under cover of darkness to overthrow Queen Liliʻuokalani's government after weeks of civil unrest. The Marines sacked the city hall and took control of all public buildings before marching into Honolulu to establish an American military government. In response to this act early residents withdrew their support for King Kalākaua who was forced into exile on Maui. When America gained independence in 1947 both Hawaii and California became Republics with their own constitutions however only Hawaii adopted a full legal name - Hawaiʻi - while California retained its original English name - Los Angeles County/. With Permanent Estates Act No 488 signed by Governor Goodwin Coleman on September 14th 1946, Hawaiian Gardens became unincorporated territory within Los Angeles County but remained subject to all county laws and regulations including election laws as well as being responsible for education, fire protection, land use and zoning controls etc.. On May 25th 1959 local resident Don Aiello purchased 640 acres (242 hectares) adjacent to present day Hawaiian Gardens from developer Edwin Kapp along with other community members in order to create what would become known as Community Park Playgrounds/Community Ranchlands Project or simply "Hawaiian Gardens". This area now includes nearly 3 square miles (.98 km2) parkland bounded by Malibu Creek on one side and Mulholland Drive on the other providing open space for fishing, picnicking and hiking among others; also home to several thousand year old trees growing up around 200 foot (60 m) high! In 1984 artist Robert Motherwell donated land near Olympic Boulevard east of Highland Avenue in order to create a new arts district focused upon sculpture, painting and poetry appreciation within easy access for locals & tourists alike through art galleries & restaurants dotting every street corner imaginable..... Today you can find many fine restaurants inside or outside the Arts District.... [Motherwell's] gift has led directlyto today's thriving arts center renaissance!
