The first bipedal human is thought to have evolved in Africa about 3.2 million years ago and the first evidence of bipedalism comes from fossils of a juvenile chimpanzee that was found with two rearlimbs. The development of the modern human body is thought to have started around 100,000 years ago when humans began to walk on two legs. This change in how people walked led to the spread of agriculture and eventually new ways of living which changed the way we looked at our environment and ourselves. In Glendale, California, there are several examples of buildings that were designed specifically for bipedal use such as the University Auditorium and Glendale Memorial Library which are both built using funds from donations made by individuals who believed that people should be able to use their vehicles safely and effectively while walking or biking. In 1893, one of Donny's sons by his second wife Anna started farming 50 acres adjacent to what is now Cliff Drive southeast of present day Home Park Drive; this land became known as Rancho Santa Anita which later changed name again to Ranchero Road and finally Glendale Road before it became Interstate 10 near downtown Los Angeles in 1959. When I-10 was built just south of Glendale Boulevard on top of modern day Mount Wilson Hospital site there were claims that some residents had threatened physical violence if I-10 were not routed through their area; however no such incidents occurred and traffic actually increased along I-10 while freeway construction took place around town creating a new suburban center with high school/university campuses nearby including UCLA's Moorhead School of Business which opened in 1966 and has since become one of LA’s largest employers – also home to several blockbuster films releases over the years including “The Godfather Part II” (1974),“Ender’s Game” (1982), “Lemon Tree Lane” (1991), “A Beautiful Mind” (2000) among others .

The first occupants of what is now Glendale were Mexican American settlers who arrived during the Mexican-American War in 1848. They named their community La Mesa because they could find no other place to settle. In 1857, Glendale became an independent city after it passed a resolution rejecting annexation by Los Angeles. This event marked the beginning of a era in which Glendale developed as an independently thriving city and served as a model for future cities throughout Southern California. In 1907, two brothers - Harry and Sam Rosen - founded The Rosen Company, which became one of Northern California's leading manufacturers of plumbing and heating devices. The company moved its headquarters from San Francisco to Glendale in 1912 and remain headquartered there to this day. From 1916 until his death in 1984, Harry Rosen was City Manager of Glendale. He was also involved with many civic affairs including being the first Mayor of Anaheim (1936–1964). During his time as City Manager, he unveiled some world-famous features such as the original Memorial Coliseum turnstile system (1946) and developing plans for downtown redevelopment that include construction of the Staples Center complex (1999). In 1932, Hollywood Studios opened its doors after years of planning by former Mayor Manuel Mirabal Jr.. At that time Universal Pictures was based out of Culver City; however production shifted to Hollywood when MGM merged with UPN on July 1st 1926. After more than fifty years on location at Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street near Dodger Stadium – home ground for both Mickey Rooney’s Major League Baseball career (playing pitcher at Chavez Ravine from 1943-1945) while he acted “on set” at MGM studio lot – CBS Corporation bought Universal Pictures’ lease on November 15th 1957 for $20 million dollars ($ up from $15 million when they purchased it eight months earlier), made actor Clark Gable Chief Executive Officer (1958–1965), renovated Movie Plaza into what is now known as Paramount Studios back then called Studio One where all Star Wars movies were filmed until Return Of The Jedi released over 20 years later on May 25th 1980 (!), leased Cinemark multiplex… later demolished when movieplex built next door
