Gardena, California is a city of over 100,000 people located in the San Gabriel Valley on the Angeles National Forest. The city was founded in 1887 by two brothers, George and Jesse Gardena. The City of Gardena was incorporated on February 14th, 1912. Gardena has a population of over 120,000 residents today with an estimated population growth rate of 1.5% annually. The first gun protection history in Gardena can be traced back to 1887 when two brothers named George and Jesse Gardena founded the city of Gardena. At that time there were no guns in California and Guns didn't exist as we know them until after World War II when they started to become more common throughout the United States due to their military use. During the late 1800s and early 1900s many public shootings took place in Southern California including those at Belle Reve Casino where 22 people were killed on July 29th 1893 by angry customers after winning a $2 million lottery ticket; also at Pico Rivera Race Track which resulted in 5 deaths on December 12th 1899; also at Donner Cabin near Los Angeles where 3 men died after playing poker during a stormy night; also at Topanga Canyon near Lodi which resulted in 2 deaths from shotgun shot wounds on October 14th 1905 all within 24 hours from separate incidents. Most notable for gun protection history is however, the 1907 shooting death of Captain John D'Angelo who was exiting his house just outside of downtown Gardnerville when he was gunned down by 4 gunmen while walking his dog outside his home with his wife and children inside - this occurred despite D'Angelo's own precautions such as having multiple layers of clothing on and carrying several firearms with him into retirement community known as "Rancho Santa Anita". “In 1907 Captain John D’Angelo tragically lost his life while enjoying peaceful walks along Rancho Santa Anita – one mile from downtown – after four gunmen invaded his home without warning or provocation."

Gardena, California is located in the middle of Los Angeles County and has been inhabited by the Tongva people for more than 10,000 years. The first Europeans to visit Gardena were Spanish explorers who sailed past in 1769. In 1836, General Antonio López de Santa Anna founded Rancho San Gabriel, which included land that now makes up Gardena. In 1859, Oscar Smedley Butler purchased part of Rancho San Gabriel and renamed it Gardena after himself. By 1865, many of the original ranch buildings had been destroyed by fire, but new ones were built. In 1876, Jameson Welles bought a large piece of Rancho San Gabriel from Manuel Nieto. He named it Gardena because he thought it would be a nice name for a town in Southern California. Welles opened his wine shop and winery at 12th and Market Streets in Gardena in 1880. The first post office was established at 4th and Main Streets in Gardena on November 2nd of that year. In 1893, Jens Jensen started the first grocery store in Los Angeles County with two stores at 12th and Main Streets opposite Welles’ winery. The early 20th century was a time when many innovative things happened within the agricultural industry in California due to advances being made during this time period with soil science being one such advancement which led to increased production across all aspects of agriculture including winegrowing. On October 25th 1906 an earthquake hit Los Angeles County causing widespread damage throughout the area including much damage to plants inside gardens as well as loss of life both human and animal species resulting from disruptions to water supplies which exacerbated crop failures across much of Northern California makingwine production practical once again becoming economically viable despite significant losses suffered during those years during the Great Depression . On January 6th 1915 residents voted 3-1 against annexation into Pasadena by then city-county officials following pleas from Mayor Edward Humes who contended that annexation would lead to an increase in taxes while gardeners fear they would lose their right-of-way through residential areas east of 16th Street if annexed given how long they had waited before seeking similar action from their counterparts within city limits – something which never materialized although some streets within what are now Pasadena do contain evidence thereof A small amount of gas was discovered near what is now downtown Lancaster on February 13rd 1913 while drilling for oil wells intending primarily for use at Lancaster Naval Shipyard but leakage occurred resulting in $2,500 worth lost revenue rather than any commercial development taking place as intended . A significant issue bedeviling efforts during this same time period related specifically to gasoline prices escalated on May 5th 1922 when local resident Harry Nordhaus became known as “The Angel Of Gasoline Prices” after hezurchased control over retail sales inquiries affecting supplier Enron Corporation setting off a wholesale price wars between numerous producers ultimately leading to higher fuel costs across North America . After almost 150 years service District No 1 finally came into existence effective January 1st 1951 when portions east side of I-5 ( bounded today by Glendale Boulevard , La Brea Avenue , Vermont Avenue & Lankershim Boulevard) were transferred thereto following approval by voters via propositions #3 (May 9 th ) & #4 (July 15 th ), respectively
Gardena is located in the Kern County, California area. It was founded on August 22, 1879 by Captain James Fenton and his wife Mary. The town was named after Mrs. Fenton's brother-in-law, who had been killed in a fight with Indians. The first post office in Gardena opened on October 9, 1879. The population of Gardena was only 60 people when it started to grow rapidly due to the discovery of oil fields near the town. The first hotel in Gardena was built by Captains Fenton and John Wertz in 1881. In 1905, Harry Chandler bought 220 acres (100 hectares) of land east of the city limits for $2 million dollars which he turned into a large citrus orchard and development called "Chandler Orchard". In 1916, he sold the orchard to JB Pritzker who renamed it "Pritzker Orchards" after his father Jewish businessman Joseph Burdick Pritzker III (1864-1946). His father had also founded Chicago's Pullman Company in 1892. In 1925, Harry Chandler donated 2 square miles (4 hectares) of land east of Gardena to build what is now known as Southern Pacific Park which became one of the largest open space features in Los Angeles County at that time. In 1928, Harry Chandler donated an additional 2 square miles (4 hectares) of land east of Gardena to become part of Northridge which became one of Los Angeles' most affluent neighborhoods at that time with its own police department and school district. He also endowed a scholarship fund which continues today as UCLA Bruins Campus Recreation Foundation
