Fountain Valley is a small town in Southern California. It was founded in 1907 by farmers and their families who moved from the San Francisco Bay Area. The town gradually grew, becoming known for its citrus crops, dairy products, and furniture. In 1968, the town annexed part of neighboring Santa Ana. That same year, the then-new Fountain Valley police department was established. Today, the department has a population of just over 100 officers and provides law enforcement services to both Fountain Valley and Santa Ana. Gun targets have been an important part of Fountain Valley history since at least 1915 when one manufacturer offered targets to customers on Railroad Street. At that time there were no firearms laws in California so anyone could purchase any target they desired without restrictions or permits. Today many businesses in Fountain Valley offer targets to customers as well as rifle range memberships which allow them to shoot at various distances with different types of firearms including handguns and shotguns. One of the earliest shooting ranges in Orange County was located on Anthony Road near Orinda before it closed down around 1970 (although some records show it opened in 1944). The current location for the Orange County Rifle & Pistol Club is located off Depot Road about two miles east of downtown Fountain Valley within walking distance of most shops/restaurants/cafes as well as Stanislaus Park which offers plenty of opportunity for target shooting opportunities during warm weather months!

Fountain Valley is a small town in Fresno County, California, United States. The population was 5,752 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fresno–Madera, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first European to visit Fountain Valley was Juan Bautista de Anza on October 25, 1769. Heading southward from his mission in San Francisco Bay, he surveyed and named what is now southeastern Fresno County - Bakersfield being his probable location - after John Baptist Fountain (1675-1746), a landowner in nearby Tulare County who had donated some acreage to the Franciscan Mission San Francisco Arcángel (1768-1821). Fountain Valley's history goes back even further! In 1872, William H. Smith started an agricultural colony called "New Beginnings" in what is now east-central Fresno County and named it for George Washington Carver who had founded Carver Farms near Sacramento in 1867. A year later he moved his operations to what is now southwest Fresno County and continued to operate them until 1911 when they were merged with the adjoining community of Newellton into one municipality known as Fountain Valley. Since then, much has changed within this small town that nestles along scenic Route 66 just outside of downtown Fresno. Many of the original businesses are still open today such as Onyx Foods Inc., which specializes in fresh produce; The Apple Store; and Jiffy Lube/Leeds Hardware located on State Street inside Oferta Mart mall which opened its doors in 1984 just before IMAX Cinema opening its doors here!
