Fountain Valley, California is a small city located in the San Joaquin Valley of California. The population was 5,604 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Fresno-Madera, CA metropolitan area. Fountain Valley has been inhabited for over 10,000 years and contains many gun magazines from that time. These magazines are important to gun enthusiasts because they contain rare and valuable firearms. The first gun magazine in Fountain Valley was called The Rifleman and it was established in 1892 by two men named George Stephenson and Halsey Altman. The magazine published monthly issues with a circulation of around 100 subscribers. In 1903, The Pistolero began publication and it had a circulation of over 1,500 copies per issue. Eventually both magazines merged into one known as American Rifleman which continued publication until 1951 when it became an independent journal known as American Shooter. In 1978, American Shooter merged with another journal known as Gun Digest which continues to publish today. Gun Digest also published the first volume of what would become the classic Firearms Encyclopedia which contained information on every firearm ever made including their history, manufacture date, features and more! This encyclopedia remains one of the most influential publications in terms of firearms knowledge to this day! On October 15th 1969 - exactly 108 years after its inception -Gun Digest announced they were ceasing operations due to financial difficulties but kept their name alive by creating Gun Resources Publishing which publishes various guides including how-to guides for different types of shotguns and handguns; reloading manuals; identification guides; collector's guidebooks; rifle reviews & photos galleries etc., all written by professional writers who have extensive experience with guns and ammo!

The history of Fountain Valley begins with Ahmanson Ranch which was founded by George Crantz in 1853. Ahmanson Ranch was one of many ranches started by pioneers such as John Sutter and David Whitcomb during the Gold Rush era in California. The Ahmanson Ranch name comes from Antonio Hernández de Crespo who acquired it from Don José Moreno y Vargas on October 10, 1848 for $5,000USD from his father-in-law Pío Pico de la Cruz y Costilla. In 1854 Juan Diego Chaves purchased part of Ahmansonranch for $10,000USD from Manuel Nieto and began to develop it into what would become known as Fountain Valley today; he named it after two springs that were located nearby: Fiesta del Valle (Valley Flower) and Agua Caliente (Hot Water Spring). Fountain Valley had its first residents in 1886 when Obed Murphy moved to the valley from Chicago with his family. A year later John Sutter arrived at Hueneme Station onFebruary 14th to start construction on his new gold mine which would eventually become Western Union Telegraph Company’s Santa Ana office building today known as Sutter Tower. By 1888 there were over 100 residents living within what is now Fountain Valley boundaries; many of these settlers came directly out of Chicago or other Midwest cities during the early days of American settlement in California followingthe Mexican-American War (1846-1848). During this time period numerous stores opened up throughout downtown Los Angeles due to easy access to transportation via wagon trains or horseback riders offering good wages for long hours work; these businesses included Fidelity Loan & Trust Co., Bank Of Americanorthwest corner 2nd street between First& Second Streets west side), Bakersfield Cigar Store #2 east side 1st Ave northwest corner 8th Street northwest corner 3rd Avenueowned by Jens Meyerheimer & Brothers cigar store owners Einar Christensen (Danish immigrant)and Harry Rasmussen (Norwegian immigrant)opened February 24th 1865 inside what is now Macy’s Dept store at Third Street & Main Road south side). Many similar stores soon cropped up all across downtownLos Angeles thanks to commercial development led by Jedediah Smith Sr./Jedediah Smith Jr.– founder/director/CEOof City National Bank/First National Bank– both located near where Interstate 5now crosses First Avenue; our current Civic Center building was built adjacent thereto back then too! In 1892 Chinese immigrants Sun Yat Sen and his brother Sun Chuang bought 160 acres around present day Muir Woods Regional Park off Magazine St.; they renamed it Muslim Heights after their home village in Guangdong ProvinceChina during their visit there that year ."Muslim Heights" continued to be used as a military encampment until 1942 when it became available for civilian use under Air Force jurisdictionsee Muslim Heights Camping Grounds History". Today much of this land surroundingMuir Woods Regional Park remains undeveloped although some parcels have been developed into homesites forming part of IslamicVillage neighborhood ; park visitor centers containing exhibits about Muslims who settled here remain open daily 9am – 4pm.." . Today's fountain valley began developing rapidly after World War II ended with scores of young people moving herefrom all over America looking for opportunity postwar . Many found themselves working at local factories or heading outside into agriculture where they worked alongside their peers on small farmssteady since before statehood , transforming one small farming town into one major agricultural center – still going strong todaydespite large numbers OF immigrants coming later ..Today's economy relies heavily upon services provided by municipal government apparatus like water supply, education, firefighting etc.; manufacturing continues but smaller businesses have closed down or migrated away while larger enterprises have thrived."

In 1970, the population decreased when an oil refinery opened up nearby and caused a decline in business activity throughout the town.
