Fontana, California is home to one of the most famous firearms museums in the world. The museum is called the ValleyGun Museum and it was founded in 1984 by Dick Hall. The museum has collection of over 2,000 firearms and accessories including weapons from both sides of the Civil War. Fontana also has a rich history with regards to clothing. In 1889, a man named George Riggins started a clothing store in Fontana and began selling clothes for gun owners. This store helped to shape Fontana into what it is today as anarms town. From here, fontanas success as an arms town led to other businesses picking up where Riggins left off and creating a truly unique shopping experience for visitors.

Fontana's history with firearms dates back to the 1860s when it was a small town in Southern California. The area now known as Fontana was initially part of Rancho Cahuilla, which was organized by Gabriel García Márquez in 1821. In 1868, three men from Rancho Cahuilla – José Joaquín de la Peña, Manuel Nieto and Vicente Guerrero – patented a parcel of land that would later become the city of Fontana. The patentees named their fledgling town after themselves, Fontana being one of the first places in California to be named after a person or thing. In 1898, John W. Grimes bought 1/4 mile east of where today's Atherton Avenue intersects I-5 from George Prentice Higgins for $1 million. Mr. Grimes had been born in Wales and emigrated to America at the age of eighteen months old with his parents and settled in San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Fontana in 1892. He became an entrepreneur who developed several businesses including dry goods store and grocery store on Atherton Avenue between Blossom Street and First Street. One year later he married Emma Mendieta who also came over from Spain with her mother and siblings on board the SS "España" during World War I bound for New York City via Panama City (and arrived safely). For many years they resided at 8649 Wabash Ave., but moved out circa 1948 when their son James became mayor of Fontana under then-Governor Earl Warren’s administration… In 1938 Grimes sold his interest in Atherton Avenue grocery store chain to Harry Houdini Enterprises for $2 million dollars making him one of the most successful businessmen ever associated with Valley Cities! The early 20th century saw some dramatic changes take place within local community life as gun ownership increased across much of Northern California due to both ethical reasons surrounding hunting/fishing opportunity (primarily salmon fishing) while also ensuring self-defense against bandits roaming free throughout Central Valley agricultural areas ripe for raiding by outlaw cattle rustlers operating out East Coast ranchers' herds during these difficult times economically speaking; thus creating an arms race amongst hunter/gatherers leading eventuallyto more gun fatalities than accidents among farmers working adjacent rural nonindustrialized counties! Gun owner clubs formed throughout Northern California during this time period as people beganTo feel more secure knowing their firearm(s) were lawfully owned & well-maintained… this typeof club involvement continued until well into the 1960’s although there have been sporadic exceptions since then
Fontana is a small town in Riverside County, California. The population was 23,844 at the 2000 census. It is located on the eastern edge of Riverside, adjacent to the city of Moreno Valley and east of Chino Hills. Fontana is primarily an agricultural community with a few small businesses and industries. The first Europeans to visit Fontana were Mexican missionaries in 1821 who built a mission here. The name "Fontana" comes from "Fonte de Nápoles". In 1892, two brothers, John Waddell and Charles Hinton, started a flour mill in what is now the old post office building. They named it after their home town of Nantes in France – Fontana being Italian for "Nantes". In 1899 they also founded what was then known as the Fruit Growers Cooperative Association which still produces fruit crops today. Four years later, another brother, Clarence Hinton, joined them and became president of the cooperative association. He helped develop new marketing methods for distributing goods to consumers and led efforts to improve access to credit and transportation in rural areas across America. He also developed programs that encouraged people to garden vegetables or flowers orchards or build fences around their homes for protection from raiders during Migrant Labor Week (October 15-21) in honor of patron saint Mother Teresa." The mill closed down in 1955 but continued operations as a restored store until it closed its doors again in 1984 due to heavy economic decline throughout Southern California near similar stores closing up all over because of high inflation rates caused by World War II Supply shortages.? In 1990s when there was much discussion about Replacing American Steel Industry with new products from South Korea due NAFTA liberalization - some felt that this could happen only if we can find another place inside America where there are large Korean companies already - so we went looking - found one! We found an existing company that had been mothballed outside Seoul but had restarted operations under a different name - KDC Metals? Well guess what we did! We bought it back! What followed was some very difficult times for both companies as competition increased from foreign companies trying to take advantage of our newly opened marketplaces.? KDC Metals continued trading successfully until 2003 when they filed for bankruptcy again.? After many months of unsuccessful attempts by buyers various banks decided not too invest further into them.? In 2006 KDC Metals moved production back out west finally becoming successful enought once more To reopen under their original name - Korean Metal Company Incorporated????

In 1915, Fontana annexed neighboring communities of Simi Valley and Agoura Hills. Fontana's growth came to a halt during World War II because of thearthritis caused by ground zero bombing damage to the town's infrastructure. However, following the war's end, Fontana resumed its rapid growth and became one of Southern California's most significant metropolises for aerospace industry until it lost its status in the early 21st century due to suburbanization and other economic factors. Today, Fontana is known for its popular tourist attractions such as Lake Arrowhead (a reservoir), Mount Whitney (the highest peak in North America), Ford Museum of American History, Chaparral Park Preserve Headquarters Wilderness Area and numerous restaurants and shops providing cultural experiences unique to this charming corner of Southern California
Fontana was founded in 1887 by Charles W. Fontana, a contractor and real estate developer. The town grew rapidly, with a population of around 10,000 in 1905. However, the Great Depression led to a decline in the town's population, and it closed its doors in 1952. The town is now aghosttown, but its name still appears on local landmarks such as the Fontana Dam and the California Aqueduct.
