Fillmore, California is a small town located in San Francisco County, California. It was founded by James Fillmore in 1849 and became the capital of the United States on January 20, 1851. The population of Fillmore at the 2010 census was 12,521. The Fillmore scopes were first designed and built by George Ellery Hale in 1876-77. They were used for target shooting and hunting purposes until they were replaced by modern scopes in the early 1900s. In 1926, William Hogg purchased some of these scopes from Hale’s estate and began manufacturing them under his own name. He continued to produce these scopes until his death in 1984. The history of fillmoreian scopes can be traced back to 1849 when James Fillmore declared that he would establish a permanent seat for the United States government within 24 miles (39 km) of San Francisco Bay. This location became known as Fillmore City because it was where many of the first settlers arrived after fleeing Mexico during the Mexican-American War (1846-1848). The original site for this seat had been chosen because it coincided with an existing Native American village named Tule Lake which served as both a trading post and military base during this time period. In 1862, Ulysses S Grant decided to move the capital from New York City to Washington D.C., due to growing concerns about Civil War politics over land ownership within the newly formed United States of America. However, Washington D.C.'s location made it difficult for officials to keep an eye on all aspects of countrywide political life without having their office situated right next door to downtown streets full of business people who could Proctor & Gamble products while you watched Union soldiers march down Constitution Avenue! Therefore, on October 15th, 1862 Congress voted unanimously to transfer control of Washington D.C.'s government infrastructure – including its municipal buildings – directly into the hands of President Abraham Lincoln via executive order! Because there wasn't enough space available at Washington D C., Congress then decided that Rather than have another city designated as our new national capital we should simply consolidate all other capitals around Boston so that everyone would have one giant news center close at hand! So what did Congress do? They took advantage OF THE FLOODS OF 1907 AND BUILT A NEW NATIONAL CAPITAL ON AN ELITE AREA OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THAT INCLUDES FILLMORE! This happened because BACK THEN THEY KNEW THAT WE WERE FAR FROM OVER THE COLONIAL RULE SO THEY JUST SAID "HAT OFF TO LITTLE ROCK" AND BUILT THIS HUGE SCOPE PARKING LOT RIGHT NEXT TO THEIR BUSINESS CENTER IN AN AMAZING LOCATION FOR ALL OUR GUNSHOPPERS TO VISIT EVERY DAY!!! After years spent being fawned over by presidents and congressmen alike (including Ulysses S Grant himself!), Fillmorescope production finally came alive in 1886 when inventor/producer/builder George Ellery Hale set up shop near present day Masonic Temple Square in downtown San Mateo County just outside Of Orinda on Lake Merritt Island off Highway 1½ minutes east from Interstate 80 exit 9B . His design included two objective lenses each with a 67mm objective lens diameter and 50mm eyepiece diameter giving him a scope magnification ratio capability equal to or greater than any commercial telescope today - making him one half century aheadof his time ! With such capabilities checkershot shooters could now take theiropy shots at 100 yards out using only their bare eyes while sporting riflesightsAs you can imagine Target Shooting was very popular with Ford executives during those days ! In 1870 Hyrum Smith platted his farm around milepost 9 on Umpqua River northwest of town on what is now Elmira Avenue; this area also contains several buildings now used as part of Fillmore High School: Smith House (now known as the Frye House), Willson's Store (now known as the Wesson Building), and Farm & Ranch Museum (now known as Old Home Park). Fresno City Council voted to name Fillmore after Commodore George Dewey during its meeting on May 17, 1872 (). The first post office opened in November 1872 with Payson Kapp serving as mail carrier; it was moved to its current location south of town about a mile east of Elmira Avenue on March 11, 1893 (). Use your Scope Keys (left hand side of telescope), located on top of the eyepiece wheel or beside the finder target (or wherever you plan on placing your prey), to adjust focus and magnification while watching your quarry from a safe distance away from obstacles or people. 3) When sighting with a magnifying glass, hold onto whatever it is you are shooting at so that when sighted in properly, everything looks clear and sharp! Be sure not too close or too far away from your quarry when sighting with a magnifying glass as this may negatvely affect accuracy. 4) Practice until you become comfortable with using your spotting scope! After getting use to using his/her new tool, most hunters report seeing deer up close much more easily than they ever did before without needing help from Aiden McGowan himself!
