Wickersham and Hiram S. Stone, who were looking to established themselves as ranching leaders in what is now Central California. The first store in town was opened by Wickersham and Stone on July 1, 1852. Ammunition production increased significantly during the Civil War because there was a demand for artillery shells from both Union and Confederate forces. In 1865, when California became part of the United States following the war, ammunition production continued to grow due to America's new reliance on firearms for self-defense purposes. With Winchester rifle models becoming available with multiple shot loading capacity (the so-called "multi-shot Gillotti" rifles), ammunition manufacture quickly expanded into high volume operations which allowed Forrester & Company to become one of America's leading munitions companies by 1870. During this time period also saw significant changes within American society as well as within Fillmore itself; starting with Prohibition - which led to an increase in importation of alcoholic beverages - ammo production transitioned from small batch operations into large scale manufacturing processes that required greater manpower and capital investments than had been necessary before prohibition). As Prohibition progressed it also lead to a decline in ammo sales statewide; however this did not prevent Forrester & Company from continuing its rapid growth trajectory until World War II when they relocated their corporate headquarters from San Francisco Bay Area to Corona Canyon outside Irvine CA due to wartime shortages caused by wartime bombing raids over Southern Californias cities (eclipsing Winchester who had already relocated their head office from New York City). In 1847, John Browning introduced his Repeating Rifle which featured a new system for loading ammunition called “bored” magazine wells. This system allowed for Rounds to be loaded multiple times without having to move the magazine from one place to another

Fillmore is a small town located in the Mono County, California of the United States. The population was 1,859 at the 2010 census. Fillmore is located on U.S. Route 50 and Interstate 880 east of Lodi. The Fillmore area was first settled by Native Americans in 1820. The town started as a stage stop on the Butterfield Overland Mail route from Sacramento to San Francisco. In 1851, Fillmore became part of Imperial County and in 1892 it became part of Mono County. In 1927, Fillmore had its first post office and began to serve residents of nearby Lodi and Thermalito townships as well as people living in neighboring Mono County. By 1934, all but one mail service stop had been closed due to the Depression; however, until 1948 there was still mail service between Lodi and Fillmore with overnight delivery available through Corrales Post Office until that time too mail service ended entirely when US 50 was widened into a four-lane road with no at-grade crossings anymore (the only crossing now being an overpass). When Highway 395 bypassed town in 1965, much of what remained of the community disappeared behind new development: only a few homes remain today within the original downtown core which straddles two blocks long on two levels with a large plaza level aboveground/. A small park occupies most of what used to be downtown square footage while many other streets have been largely redeveloped including Main Street which has become an upscale shopping center complete with high end stores near KFC and Safeway Mall across from Staples Center where NBA games are also played sometimes filling up arenas for home games or hosting NATO meetings or concerts etc.). One remaining remnant from fillMORE days is "The Well" restaurant which serves farm fresh food direct to your doorstep several times per week outside during daylight hours if you're so inclined although their closure effective date may vary depending on weather conditions since they've always been open late enough since they did not have refrigeration back then...sorta like today's fast food restaurants some 2200 years later!
