This firearm became known as " Christensen's Pistol". It had serial number 9026 and bore model No 9mm Parabellum calibre cartridge with 30 grains black powder propellant charge inside case which gave it a muzzle velocity of 960 fps with a sight radius of 460 yards while running freehand at 50 meters! It is not certain when this particular weapon entered into use by the City Police Department but it seems to date back to around 1905/1906 when they replaced their older Winchester 32 caliber revolvers with these new guns."
