Hodgdon was known for their quality products and it wasn’t long before he had a reputation for making reliable shotshells that could be fired multiple times without loss or failure! During World War I, Hodgdon made munitions for both America and Great Britain including shell cases and projectiles designed specifically for each country’s cannons! In 1940, Hodgdon merged with Browning Company which allowed them to produce rifles such as the M1 Garand Rifle as well as handguns such as pistols and shotguns! The company went on to produce some incredible weapons including tanks like Churchill’s Sherman tank series during World War II! AfterWorld War II ended, Hodgson closed its doors but not before leaving an indelible mark on American gunnery history!

El Cajon, California is a city in San Diego County, California. The population was 123,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Diego–Tijuana Metropolitan Statistical Area. The El Cajon Naval Air Station is located in downtown El Cajon. The first Europeans to visit what is now El Cajon were Spanish missionaries in 1769 and they named it "Pueblo Viejo" after the hill on which it stood. In 1821, Mexican nationals by the name of Gomez sold land west of Pueblo Viejo to British colonists for $2 per acre. This area became known as Rancho Las Palmas del Norte and later as Rancho Santa Fe de Tejas (now part of Imperial County). In 1882, an American army unit under General Averill Harriman burned down Mission San José de Arroyito; this event made El Cajon a Hudsons Bay Company trading post called Fort Tejon. From 1885-1887, two brothers ran a mining camp at Coyote Hills near present-day Citrus Heights called prospecting camps No. 3 and 4 because they had claims that extended eastward into real estate now known as East Valley Village and Sunburst Hills neighborhoods respectively (the modern day intersection of Interstate 805 and State Route 76). Some sources claim that Captain John Sutter founded Sutter’s Fort at Point Loma before his ships sailed up stream from Arroyito for supplies in 1846 but no evidence exists to support this claim other than hearsay or speculation. After World War II ended hostilities ceased between America and Mexico however cattle ranching continued until the early 1970s when all feedstock except water was diverted from hills around Point Loma for use within town limits only ensuing environmental damage including Aliso Canyon Oil Spill days after years of unchecked oil production dating back to 1907 when oil discoveries began with construction on Shell Oil Refinery adjacent to Point Loma Navy Yard (then Anacapa Field) ). In 1975 ranchers who grazed their animals along side Humboldt Bay werespringsupplied with water from Public Water District wells south of City Limits via pipelines due to efforts by Supervisor Don Vail led by then Mayor Norm Coleman also administered through Supervisor Dan Flores since Community Water District property lay just outside boundary line during original racially segregated san diego community agrarian zoning regulations prior thereto). That same year new legislation amended Community Water District Act thereby increasing its jurisdictional reach into portions of unincorporated county northward extending services beyond City Limits providing annexation requests could be approved subject to voter ratification; thus incorporation did not take place until 1978 pursuant to Proposition 218 which repealed old zoning regulations . Extensions through unincorporated county territory occurred via annexations granted by then Board President emeritus Dr Harry Heimann following recommendation from newly appointed Director Jerry Cuellar effective January 1st 1979 . Today much remains unchanged more so than 50 years ago despite dramatic changes brought about by technology including major freeway projects currently taking place within city limits - most notably I-805 & I-5 expansion project scheduled for completion in 2020 - making El Cajon one mega city!
