The first true Red Dot Sight appeared on American firearms in 1977 with the introduction of S&W Model #4 revolver using an electronic alignment system called "Eagle" created by John Lazor from Illinois Tool Works fame. It was also used on some Remington 700 rifles equipped with 3Burst barrels manufactured by Savage Arms Company between 1978 and 1980

East Palo Alto is a small city in Alameda County, California, United States. The population was 9,798 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Francisco Bay Area and has been a center for Silicon Valley technology industry since its founding in 1939. East Palo Alto's history begins with Rancho San Antonio de Potrero, which was bought by John D. Rockefeller in 1872. The city was founded on January 27, 1939 by two brothers named Clifford and Sidney Austin as an agricultural-industrial town located east of downtown San Francisco on rise overlooking Pacific Heights. The name "East Palo Alto" originated from when it was thought that the hills to the west were too steep to be reached by cars or pedestrians and so they called it "Palo Alto". In 1947, IBM moved its research lab from Research Triangle Park to East Palo Alto after their original site became too noisy for IBM employees; this event helped spur development of Silicon Valley as a technology center. In 1969–1970, Stanford University built a new campus adjacent to East Palo Alto and increased enrollment there; this caused the city's population growth rate to slow but not stop. However, due in large part to rapid growth within Google Campus (Googleplex) across Menlo Park Road from Stanford University (and adjoining streets), East Palo Alto saw massive housing developments immediately south of Interstate 280 between El Sobrante Boulevard and E Street closest to Googleplex - often referred to simply as "the SouthSide." By 2001 the population had grown again almost 8% Overtime only! On January 15th 2003 East Palo Alto Open Space opened following years of planning led by Mayor Gerrymandering Committee member Dianne Feinstein who also serves on City Councilmember Don Reisinger’s Transportation Committee chaired by Dianne Feinstein’s husband Chuck Schumer Governor Schwarzenegger recently announced his decision that he will leave office on May 14th 2013 effective June 30th 2013 leaving much needed state government functions up for grabs including opening up many closed business deals & programs throughout all cities including my old stomping grounds East Palo Alto would have benefited immensely if I had lived longer unfortunately laws change alot over time
The city of Palo Alto was founded in 1887 by George Stanford. The city was named for him and his son, William A. Palo Alto. The original population of the city was about 50 people. In 1915, the City Council passed a resolution to rename the city after John Fenton, an American inventor and entrepreneur who had made significant contributions to silicon Valley technology before his death in 1913. Fenton's descendants applied for and received a trademark on the name "Palo Alto" in 1916.
