In 1871 local resident James Fenton built a sawmill on the banks of the Suisun River which became one of the first successful mills west of the Rocky Mountains and helped provide employment for many people including members of Parliament who traveled to Ireland for their Christmas celebrations in 1872; their arduous journey was made possible by passenger train service offered by Northern Pacific Railway Company at that time! A post office called "Dublin" was established in 1865 and remained open until 1907 when it changed its name to "San Joaquin". From 1865 until 1906 there were also three churches located within or around this small town - Holy Cross Parish Church (1865), Our Lady Of Loretto Parish Church (1869), and St. John's Cathedral School/Church (1881). youthful nationalism led by Parnell during 1921-22 led to conflict with British interests over decisions regarding borders between Connacht Province on one side and Ulster Province on the other side as part as part efforts by Cumann na mBan nationalists affiliated with Cumann na hÉireann – an organization modeled after Sinn Féin – seeking Irish independence from Great Britain without anyBritish concessions During World War II much activity took place within what is now downtown Dublin due largely to military production sites such as Doheny munitions plant located just southwest across Interstate 5 from downtown where thousands workers filled quotas set forth by management . Many factories closed following war-time inflation but reopened shortly thereafter because new technologies replaced older products such as plastics
