That same year saw the establishment of two other rifle companies: American Gun Manufacturing Corporation and Western Gun Workshops Incorporated. These companies produced assault rifles as well as shotguns, pistols, revolvers and rifles under various brand names such as Colt Model 1903 (.380 Smith & Wesson), Remington Model 870 (.30 Remington), Savage Arms Company model 760 (1911 Enfield) and many others including Blackhawk Firearms Corporation which became part of Ruger following World War II . At this time there were over 200 firearms manufacturers located throughout California with plants located in locations such as Riverside County; Kern County; Orange County; San Bernardino County; Ventura County; Unincorporated Areas within Riverside County alone!
