In 1957, president Dwight D Eisenhower established a national monument here to commemorate America's victory over fascism around the world during World War II and to promote cowboy culture through education and tourism initiatives. Today, Desert Hot Springs remains one of America's most popular tourist destinations due to its natural beauty as well as its history which has been visited by presidents, movie stars, athletes and other notable figures.

However, one of the most significant advancements within AR receivers has been microswaging / mil Specification barrels; this refers to barrels that are specifically designed by government agencies around specific Specifications such as chamber pressure (2400 psi), chamber dimensions (.5 inch or less) & bore size (.280 inches or less). This allows weapon builders who may not have access to higher quality barrel material from conventional Manufacturers such as Remington Arms Company or Savage Arms Company to produce precision firearms at an affordable cost utilizing standard factory parts!

Desert Hot Springs is a city in Riverside County, California, United States. The population was 27,643 at the 2010 census. It is located in the Mojave Desert between Palm Springs and Palm Springs City on the eastern edge of the San Bernardino Mountains. The first people to live in desert hot springs were Mormon pioneers who traveled there during their 1849–1850 journey from Salt Lake City across the Great Basin region. They built small cinderblocks huts near present-day Springdale for themselves and their families while they awaited news of Relief Society missionaries traveling through Nevada and Arizona that summer. By 1853, most of these pioneers had died from disease or exposure in what is now known as Stagecoachman's Canyon due to hazardouscountry conditions and lack of water resources. In 1865, prospectors discovered a well east of Springdale that did not require pumping to produce water; this led to development around it which included hotels, clinics, schools, barracks for army officers during World War II (1945), and other businesses over time including an airport serving Desert Hot Springs until its closure in 1988 following Intercontinental Airport standardsization within Riverside County
Desert Hot Springs National Monument is a national monument located in the Mojave Desert of southern California. It was created on October 22, 1916 by President Wilson as part of the Antiquities Act of 1916. The monument includes a large area of desert floor that has been designated as a Preserve for the Study and Preservation of Desert Plants and Animals.
