After many prototypes were Testing & Development (T&D) stage between 1969 – 1973 these resulted in the final product we know today as the Colt AR-15 Upper Receiver! This important milestone saw the original development team consisting of Pistol Gunsmith/Custom Shop Instructor Randy Bowers (now deceased), Master Gunsmith Jerry Chapman (now deceased), Technical Sergeant Tommy Gruener (now deceased) & Second Lieutenant Mark Wahlgren (now also deceased). In total they produced over 100 prototype models before finally settling on what we now know as our standard factory version! Of course there was much debate at this time about how best to proceed with this new design which ultimately led to mass production starting in 1974!

On July 1, 1851, American Commodore Perry arrived at Monterey with an expedition led by Commodore John Dalles and discovered gold near this site (present day Delano). The discovery set off a stampede for land that continues to this day; within two years, over 250 towns had sprung up along both coasts of North America clamoring for ownership of these golden fields! The early days were difficult; many pioneers died fighting in Mexican wars or freezing their way across country in search of claim rights to these rich resources. But with perseverance and hard work things began to change: railroads arrived bringing much-needed supplies; businesses sprang up filling need once again with laborers from all over America; schools were built; and families settled into their new lives - some moving away permanently but many staying until they could raise families hereabouts! Today there are more than 60 independent ranchers/farmers operating around Delano including 12 dairy farms providing milk for local grocery stores, 5 wineries producing wine grapes & sparkling wines (4 whites & 1 red), 2 turkey processors manufacturing stuffing mix for Thanksgiving dinners statewide PLUS 3 blacksmiths doing heavy metal work including repairs/maintenance on cars etc., 4 restaurants serving fresh made pasta dishes daily (3 Italian & 1 Chinese) as well as several fast food chains like Carl's Jr., Dunkin' Donuts & Taco Bell - making it one big village! There are also plenty of shops & services catering specifically to locals such as law firms (& pharmacies), banks (!), fitness centers, churches (& other religious services), bars/nightlife - all while keeping close tabs on world news events going on nearby!

With increasing trade across country and more people traveling to find Jobs during this time period, business continued to grow at Waddell Mill until it shut down its doors in 1916 due to economic difficulties within society at large combined with increased competition from other industries throughout California during World War I In 1925, anotherIrrigation Plant was erected south off HWY680 just outside town limits creating even more demand for water which caused prices for water to go up significantly . Prices also went up so much that citizens voted not to renew an agreement with Water Company because they did not think it would be worth it anymore
