AsLos Angeles grew ever more congested and expensively populated due to its high rate of development however general storekeepers/ restaurateurs managed to keep up with changing trends by opening improvedendo parlors known as Gilded Age Menlo Park until around 1925 when they were replaced by modern day shopping malls
