By 1915, over 95% of all goods arriving at or departing from downtown LAS were transported by rail via The Great Western Railway

In 1881, the city limits were expanded to include parts of unincorporated areas around it that had been annexed since its founding. In 1906, Danville became part of Riverside County when it was split off from San Bernardino County. The city has experienced gradual growth since then with current boundaries including portions of Jurupa Valley east of Interstate 10 and west of Interstate 15
