Daly City is a city in San Francisco County, California, on the shore of the Golden Gate Bridge. The population was 24,372 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Francisco Bay Area and has a strongly urban flavor. The city's first permanent settler was John Fitch in 1849. Daly City grew rapidly during World War II; it became a major naval airbase in 1944 and later served as an important port for munitions traffic from Asia. After the war, Daly City experienced rapid growth as a suburb of San Francisco proper; its population reached 100,000 by 1970. The city annexed some adjoining neighborhoods in 1984. Today Daly City is home to about 30% of the city's total population and most of its economic activity occurs within its own boundaries. Daly City residents have long had strong connections with their nearby neighbor to the north:San Francisco (the "City on the Rocks"). First established by missionaries in 1797 as Point Imperial, San Francisco became known as California's "gateway to gold" because so much valuable gold ore was found thereabouts. In 1851, two years after Californian statehood was achieved, James Hutton arrived in Point Imperial with his wife Elizabeth Woolridge Hutton to prospect for gold near today's Midtown area now occupied by Levi’s Stadium and other large businesses and residences – what would become Daly City. Their small wagon party (five people) started out up North Beach ridgeline on April 15th1851- primarily to prospect but also because they wanted to show off their new land holdings which measuring only six acres at best! They soon realized that although this area seemed rich enough for them to start farming or extracting coal and silver from veins running through this high granite terrain it had not yet been populated so they decided instead to build a cabin which they named “Hutton”s Valley’ due east of where it stands today! This initial discovery led directly into what we know now as downtown San Francisco; those early pioneers were quickly able to identify transport routes necessary for getting goods down south from Japan onto American soil throughout those early years including cargo ship captains such as Samuel Inskeep who sailed up Market Street under Government Pier into Sausalito before transported goods all the way down along Embarcadero until he met Captain Mendenhall onshore at Portsmouth Wharf before finally sailing up Mission Street past Alcatraz Island before reaching Golden Gate Park through Powell’s Ferry Landing! This navigation system still exists today with many stops along route including current Petaluma Blvd., Geary Blvd., 4th Ave S., Bryant St./Folsom St., Larkin St./Eggleston Dr…. etc…… Great Northern Railway ran betweenSF+Oakland via Peninsula & Brisbane Streets thru SF then across Richmond & Berkeley Streetsumenthal built first cross street crossing Lincoln Loop Rd just west of University Ave & Telegraph Hill Rd......... By 1850 there were over 50 businesses located downtown alone....... Railroads played an important role not only transportation but also development too with steamboats transporting goods inland during times when sailing boats couldn't make it very far….. By 1870 construction began on Candlestick Park one of largest parks ever created...... Many famous California natives lived here like Adolphus Busch who brewed beer at Hyde Park Brewery - another example how railroads allowed cities like SF&AKWGto grow larger than they otherwise would have been able to….. Following WWI veteran merchants returned home Despite difficult times finding work these men pooled resources together formed several companies that invested heavily in Wacoal oil products which led directly into Wacoal Industries being founded..........In 1922 Pacific Gas Light Company was founded................................................................... WWII brought increased production generating more jobs developing military supplies while also creating demand for housing.................................................. Most notable resident: Supervisor Harvey Milk who represented District 12B from 1974-1978......................... By 2000 approximately 60% of local employment occurred within 1 mile radius

SCOPE MOUNTING SYSTEMS are a critical part of any rifle or shotgun. A scope mount typically attaches to the barrel of the rifle or shotgun by using a dovetail or other type of mating connection. A scope mounting system includes an upper receiver and lower receiver, which are connected by one or more mounts. The mounts can be attached directly to the barrel, but also may be attached to other parts of the firearm such as stocks, grips, and handguards. The purpose of a scope mount is to allow the owner to see what is around his/her target while shooting. Some rifles and shotguns come with both scopes and mounts pre-installed. When added on, it becomes important for shooters to get the right scope mount for their needs in order to achieve their desired results while shooting. The following are some common types of scopes that have been used with firearms: windage/ elevation adjustment (WAE) scopes, reflex sights, day/night optics, airguns and toy guns. Scope Mounts vary in terms of design features and components that make them incompatible with each other making it difficult for shooters who do not know what they are looking for when shopping for a new mount. Some folks find that having several hundred rounds through my rifle without issue has helped me nail down very tight groups at long ranges; I wouldn't hesitate recommending someone install one if they're interested in doing just that sorta thing! milspec 1913 rails work great though so don't go overboard :) There are two main types Of Rifle Scope Mounts: Weaver Style and Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny Rails type depending on what kind of rifles you want them mounted onto - generally speaking most people want Weaver Style because they provide lotsOf adjustability whereas Mil-Spec 1913Picatinny Rail provides maximum versatility & compatibility with modern accessories like red dot sight posts etc... SSMs come in two flavors depending on how much space you need between your optic & actiongroup housing - Most often these have 1’’ spacing between actions group & optic however 2’ spacings occasionally become available too - ultimately this will dictate how close or far back your optic can be set before interference begins hitting sensitive parts outside your weapon tube @ 600yd@ 44degrees

The first expansion of the original Daly City location was in 1906, when a new grocery store was opened. In 1912, a clothing store and restaurant were also established in the city. The next year, an insurance agency and garage were added to the mix. In 1916, a movie theater was also erected in Daly City. In 1934, the city's first department store - J.C. Penney - opened its doors in downtown Daly City. Two years later, a bank followed suit and became the first commercial building on Market Street in downtown Daly City. The following year saw another department store - Sears - open its doors on Bronson Boulevard just east of Highway 99. In 1951, another department store - Montgomery Ward - opened its doors on Stockton Boulevard near Airport Way south of Daly City Boulevard. That same year saw the opening of the first shopping mall in Northern California – The GreatAmerica Shopping Center – which located off Interstate 880 across from Highway 101 north of Daly City Boulevard.

Daly City was founded on December 3, 1853 by speculators John Daly and James Guthrie as a small community on Rancho Palos Verdes Peninsula. The original site of Daly City was located near present-day Noe Valley and Mission Bay. In 1854, John Daly donated land to build an agricultural college at what is now UC Berkeley. This land also served as the basis for Palmer College which began operations in 1868. By 1870, Daly City had become a consolidated municipality with seven villages: South Park (now part of Oakland), Kensington (now part of Emeryville), Belvedere, Gilroy Heights, Freshwater Beach and Yerba Buena Island (later renamed Treasure Island). On January 15, 1893, it became an independent city with boundaries that included all of San Francisco County except Alameda County and portions of Contra Costa County. On July 16, 1906 – one day after America entered World War I – Mayor George Prentice called for a meeting to discuss whether or not to declare war on Japan due to their aggression in East Asia. A majority of residents voted against declaring war but Mayor Prentice made the decision anyway because he felt that there would be no other way out given the international politics at that time
