With its new locale came new opportunities for development; one such opportunity was the establishment of a local school district in 1902-3 which served many rural residents throughout Kern County! The growth of other businesses within Corona also helped spur development within the community: an insurance company was established herein 1924; then followed restaurant outlets (the most popular being Jacksons’ Bar & Grill), chiropractors (1936), ambulance service (1940), auto parts stores (1964), various types of home improvement retailers including lawn mowers/ Equipment dealerships (1972-4) before finally becoming fully incorporation into Kern County effective 3 years later! Today,Corona remains an vibrant community with active businesses and thriving cultural activities - all thanks to its long history!
