In 1891, a group of businessmen donated land to the Chamber for use as a meeting place. In 1912, the Chamber moved from its original location on First Street to what is now Fourth and Main Streets. In 1948, the Chamber moved again to its current location on First and Main Streets.
Corcoran is a small town in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 7,527 at the 2010 census. It lies on the east side of San Bernardino Valley and has a warm climate with temperatures ranging from 60-86 degrees Fahrenheit year-round. Most of the residents are retirees or people who work in nearby cities. The name comes from two things: "Corcoran" is Italian for "a stone that stands out", and "san" means "place". So, Corcoran means "stone in place." The first recorded sale of real estate in this area took place on November 17th 1875 by Wm Eaton of Lancaster, Pennsylvania to A.F. Laughlin of San Bernardino County for $2,000 cash plus four lots which he had patented October 12th 1874 totaling . The date given is inaccurate as it may be from an earlier deed or map which is not yet extant. However, it's likely that Eaton sold the land to Laughlin because he had bought it some time before from James Irvine (or Ira Irvine) who had also purchased some land hereabouts. Laughlin built his first home here around 1880 and started farming later that century; however, he did most of his business dealing with buyers and sellers across the county seat at Palmdale until his death in 1916. In 1911 Jens Jensen entered into an agreement with fellow Danish immigrant Ole Olsen to produce celery hereon their farmsteads adjoining Happy Valley Road west of present day Corcoran High School ground; however production ceased due toILS diseases (rabbit fever). After Olsen's death young son Julius continued production but produced only about 20 bushels/acre during World War II due to rationing then again after the war ended when prices increased significantly. After Ole Olsen's death there were several family members involved in Celery Production including Julius' father Peder Jenssen who ran one hectare for five cents per bushel until 1970 when he sold it back to Ole Olsen's son Larsen whose heirs continue production today; current yield is about 2 tons/acre per acre based on recent data gleaned from Google Street View imagery Today much less than 1% of what used to be grown here goes into processed food products such as celery seed oil or canola oil though there are still a few farmers producing other items like hops and quinoa because those have become more popular recently among local chefs as well as developed countries marketplaces where they can be found at lower price points depending on location

At this point, all Scope Mount products became part of Winchester Firearms Group LLC which is now a subsidiary of ATK Incorporated (formerly American Technology Devices).

In recent years,Corcoran has experienced significant decline both economically and politically due to rescinded streetlights (a mainstay of its economy), traffic congestion and environmental problems such as water shortages that have led to physical damage and environmental degradation. However, despite these challenges, there are still many reminders that Corcoran is one of America's oldest cities – such as its rich history dating back to 1887 or its beautiful architecture – which makes it an interesting place to visit regardless of your economic situation or political leanings.
