By 1870, Ammunition had become one of America’s leading ammunition companies and manufactured bullets for most major firearms manufacturers including Colt Firearms Company (later Colt revolver), Remington Arms Company (later Remington rifles), Savage Arms Company (later Savage shotguns), Winchester Repeater Firearms Company (later Winchester repeating rifles) and more than 100 other firearm companies across the country. It wasn't until 1898 that Ammunition became embroiled in controversy when two competing manufacturers produced rounds that caused mass casualties during the Spanish-American War by exploding near warships transporting military supplies to Cuba: Robert E Lee's Confederate Army used surplus Ulysses S Grant round while American forces used John Browning's " Kansas Clipper" round

A post office called Saugus was established in 1872, and it served as the county seat until 1907 when Riverside became the county seat. After securing financial backing from various investors including James Hickey (founder of Brown & Williamson Tobacco), Waddell built his railroad from original terminus at correlates (now Jurupa Valley) east to Redlands without ever reaching Saugus or any other town along its route. The first train ran on December 21, 1874 from Junction City to downtown Redlands with stops at both Saugus and Ontario Mills; later trains also reached Downey and Fullerton. Commerce quickly become an agricultural center with growing wine production as well as fruits such as apples and oranges; however, it primarily relied upon local transportation for goods until Interstate 10 was constructed in 1957 which made shopping available throughout Southern California beyond Inland Empire boundaries for the first time. Since then commerce has grown rapidly thanks to new construction projects like Katella Towers development that fronts onto Interstate 10 just south of town limits; furthermore, new light industrial development has taken root along I-10 near exits 247A and 248B ensuring continued growth within minutes’ walk of all major shopping malls statewide today! The completion of I-10 also helped spur commercial redevelopment adjacent to it including large stadiums for basketball, football and hockey which have since replaced much older warehouses/industrial sites once home to tanning beds, chicken coops and other agriculture-related businesses
