Gun lasers first started as a way to shoot small targets at long ranges. The technology was developed by American gunmakers in the early 1800s. They used smaller, more easily portable lasers to fire off rounds at targets at distances up to 100 yards. The first mass-produced guns using gun lasers were created in the late 1800s by General Electric and other manufacturers. These guns were designed for use on military platforms such as submarines and planes. Gun laser technology has since been adopted by many civilian applications, most notably for hunting and target practice. Gun lasers are still used today in shooting competitions, primarily for training purposes. Some gun Laser owners also enjoy using their weapon lasers as decorative pieces or tools.

The first laser-based gun was developed by Dr. David Levy and Dr. Irwin Jacobs at the University of California, Berkeley in the early 1970s. In 1978, two Israelis named Yossi Yaari and Danny Wecht developed a Laser Gun system that uses coherent short-wavelength light (a type of blue wavelength) rather than pulsed sound to fire projectiles from small handheld platforms nicknamed “Laser Bites”. This system is more efficient because it doesn't require as much power for each shot, making it ideal for use against higher speed targets such as armoured vehicles or aircraft carriers.) By 1984, the Laser Gun had become commercially available under the name Starburst™ by Hughes Electronics Corporation following development by Cylinder Technologies Incorporated in 1983 using Laserscan Technology Incorporated's VLBI technology). In 1985, Light Detection And Ranging (LIDAR) was added to make thisweapon even more versatile; LIDAR allowsfor real-time detection/location of objects up to 100 meters away using microwave energy only). As technology improved over time so too did the capabilities of theseguns; in 1993 Starburst™ became operational with US Army's M9A1 handgun system which canfire shots at distances up to 350 meters using green lasers).

This weapon consisted of three main components: an optical amplifier; an image intensifier; and a control unit. The Kamikaze used three 8-inch reflector mirrors to project a high power light Beam at 3,000 watts Per mirror on a 2 meter arc with 20 degrees divergence from ground level

Its population reached 681 people in 2010 according to the U.S. Census Bureau . However, despite its small size, Colton has experienced significant growth over the last several decades thanks to its location within easy reach of major metropolitan areas such as Sacramento and Fresno , as well as access to important economic resources such as water supplies and railroads

In 1854, Colton was founded by George W. Colton and his wife, Anna L. Hefferty. The town was named for George Washington Colton, who had donated the land to the town in 1851. The first post office was established in 1861. In 1885, the population of Colton was 816 people. By 1930, the population of Colton had grown to 1,872 people. In 1939, the post office changed its name to "Anaheim" after Ana Ruben Angeles who donated $10 to help start the town's library which later became Anaheim Central Library. Mrs. Angeles also endowed a school which is still in use today as Ananda School District No 201]. In 1954, Anaheim became an incorporated city and on October 14 that year it hired Mayor Harry Chandler as its first mayor with a five-year term beginning on January 1st of each year until he resigned on December 31st of that year due to election defeat at age 70 years old
