Claremont, California is a city in San Bernardino County, California. The population was 29,827 at the 2010 census. Claremont is located on the corner of East Imperial and North Highland Avenues. It began as a farming community in 1887 and was renamed Claremont by Captain John Clifton Mather after his wife's family moved there from Santa Clara County. In 1926, Claremont became an agricultural research center for the University of California at Berkeley which remains its main tenant today. The opening of Interstate 10 in 1960 changed all that with commuters travelling to Riverside or Orange County now having to travel through Claremont to get there. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13 square miles (35 km²), all land.

In 1928, Claremont Colleges merged with three other nearby colleges to form UC Irvine and changed their name back to Claremont Colleges again in 1971 due to confusion with another small college in Orange County, UC Riverside. Since then, there have been many changes at bothUC Irvine and Claremont Colleges including major renovations (including a new sports stadium), expansions (to include online courses), and mergers (including affiliations with other universities). In 2009-10 alone, UC Irvine’s budget increased by $236 million while Clarenthold’s grew by $115 million resulting in an additional 2 percent increase over 2008-09 appropriations levels across all four campuses combined!

Interestingly, this type of movement was also seen in other ancient species such as Neanderthals and Denisovans too – which means that human ancestors must not have been the only ones capable of this type of locomotion. Over time, humans started to lose their ability to walk on two legs due to injury or disease. However, this didn’t stop them from using their other limbs for various tasks such as hunting and gathering. Eventually, we became so proficient at bipedality that we began needing just one hand for most things – which is why we call it ‘humanity’s greatest achievement’!
