Gunslungs continued to be developed throughout much of history, but they were not generally adopted until after firearms became more widespread across Europe. In 1814, Major General James Boggs designed and built oneofthe first artillery platforms that could fire rounds through a gun slit in order to test new technology before it was introduced onto battlefields across North America. In 1932, Judge Harry Prentice opened up his own law practice in town and quickly became one of the most influential figures in local politics. In 1948 he helped found what would become known as Camping World (later Walt Disney World). In 1969, General Electric produced its largest engineering project ever at their plant northeast of downtown Campbell; this project led to what is now known as GEICO Field Site #1 which covers over . At that point GEICO began marketing services out of their field site including water rights management and construction management services to developers throughout Southern California Edison Company's property adjacent to GEICO Field Site #1 between Menifee Canyon Boulevard and Arroyo Grande Avenue near where Interstate 10 crosses over into San Bernardino County

The Spanish conquerors had been traveling throughout Asia when they came across an arrow launcher called the tizonaca which resembled a modern shotgun. This weapon featured an animal jawrest that allowed users to fire arrows with greater precision than any bow and arrow ever could. The Europeans began using this new technology to shoot artillery at fortifications and other targets during their conquests. Campbell was founded in 1859 by James Campbell, a surveyor and member of the Gold Rush Period. The town was named for General John A. Campbell, who fought in the Mexican-American War. In 1886, the city of San Francisco annexed part of Campbell and made it its new municipal center. The original City Hall is still standing today and is used as the public library. The first post office in Campbell opened in 1868, and the first store opened in 1870. By 1888, there were six businesses operating in the town. Two years later, a bank was established and two churches were built. During World War I,Campbell had a population of 100 people; however, only 10-15 people lived here during peacetime due to lack of resources. The war ended with victory for America and many people returned to their homes after hostilities ended. However, because most manufacturing had stopped due to wartime restrictions on materials (eager citizens bought goods manufactured abroad), jobs remained unfilled until after World War II when industry recommenced on an large scale
Campbell was founded in 1850 by James and Martha Campbell. The first post office in the town opened in 1851. In 1872, the town was renamed Rocky Ford after General George Armstrong Custer. The population of the town totaled 350 people when it incorporated as a city in 1912.
