After the war ended, Camarillo slowly recovered as its population grew again thanks to immigrants from all over America looking for opportunities in this new country. Today, there are more than 3000 people living inCamarillo according to 2010 census data One significant event that took place in Camarillo during this time was the arrival of American movie star Shirley Temple on June 4th 1922 when she performed at Sheboygan County Fairgrounds as part of her nationwide tour entitled "Shirley Temple's Around The World Tour".
