It also featured a bayonet lug which allowed you to take down enemy soldiers easier than before. And because of its powerful firepower, The California Rifle quickly became one of America’s most popular firearms!

Gold production began rapidly enough for California City to become an important mining center during the late 1800s and early 1900s; however sporadic strikes continued until after World War II when a general strike successfully closed most of the mines in southern California due to competition from more efficient mines elsewhere in the state while Californians enjoyed increased prosperity thanks largely to government spending on social programs like public education and health care initiatives such as Social Security and Medicare
