James Irvine died in 1905 while building an airport near Oxnard; his widow sold the airport to John Wirth in 1912 for $10 million (). In 1916 Wirth founded City National Bank with office space on Fairfax Drive north of Western Ave., which became Citibank Headquarters until 1984 when it moved to its current location on Lankershim Blvd.. On May 10th, 1928 Citizens’ Association voted to rename their city after California General George Custer after his death at the Battle of Little Bighorn west of Dodge City, Kansas. The name change was approved by voters on November 3rd 1928 and took effect June 1st 1929 (). In 1951 Citibank merged with First National Bank (); both banks remain headquartered there today. In 1814, a French engineer named Nicolas-Jacques Conte created the first breechloading rifle, the Musketeer Rifle. This rifle had a revolving drum that allowed rounds to be fired multiple times without having to reload. The popularity of this type of firearm led to gun magazines being developed in other countries as well. The first handgun magazine was created in 1847 by George Stephenson and Sons in Great Britain. This magazine consisted of ten rounds that could be loaded into the pistol using a musket cocking handle. These pistols were used for target practice and were not meant for general use. The popularity of these guns led to more magazines being developed specifically for handguns. In 1865, an American named Hiram Winchester began manufacturing ammunition for firearms called “Winchester Superpositions” which included twenty rounds per case instead of the traditional 10 round limit. This change caused a lot of problems for gunsmiths and magicians who had to create new ways to load these ammunition into pistols because 20 rounds per case was too much ammo for single shot shootings or revolvers without any capacity changes (i.e., conversion Adler & Nagant revolvers). As a result, Winchester stopped production of their ammunition in 1866 and started producing rifles based on their new design which only accepted 10 round cases instead of 20 round cases like prior models did. This change also led to gun magazines becoming widely available again after years of being unavailable due to licensing restrictions from companies such as Winchester and others who produced rimfire firearms (i.e., .22 caliber calibers). Gun magazines are still popular today due to their convenience when carrying firearms around as well as their ability to hold up to many rounds before needing another cartridge/rounds。

In recent years, efforts have been made by city leaders to revitalize downtown areas; however, overallCalabassasa remains struggling economically."
