Buena Park (formerly Buena Vista) is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. The population was 93,824 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the Hollywood Hills neighborhood. The area that now makes up Buena Park was first settled by European Americans in the 1860s and 1870s as part of what is now called Pasadena. In 1884, Alvar A. Sosa, who had come to Southern California from central Mexico to work on the railroad, purchased land east of downtown Los Angeles and founded the city of Industry. After years of struggles with water shortages and lack of development, Industry's incorporation into Buena Park on February 14, 1912 made it one of Los Angeles' original "gated communities". The first post office in Buena Park was established at 8055 W McNary Way on March 2, 1913. The name change came about because Community Service District #4 wanted to be able to billing for services provided by merchants in their new municipality; prior to that all services were billed through City Hall. The first mayor was John Cavanaugh (1912-14). In 1947, Anaheim's Unocal oil refinery opened and started production nearby which caused great concern among many people living near or within easy range due to allegations that it would cause cancer among workers and create an unhealthy air quality mess inside the city limits; however no such reports ever surfaced after Unocal stopped production in 1984 until more recent studies were done some 25 years later which have yet to conclusively prove any connection betweenUnocal and cancer rates inside or outside city limits/municipality! As early as 1958 there were plans for a shopping mall located off I-10 westbound exit 5A just south of Pico Boulevard but nothing materialized until 1965 when developer Harry Belson announced plans for an $88 million complex comprising three levels comprising nearly 4500 acres including over 1800 retail spaces plus a movie theater/theater complex erected across from Pacific Coast Highway aka “Mallway” with its own private airstrip used exclusively by Belson’s company related flights! With this project finally coming close fruition in 1969 only months before his death his widow Mrs. Harry Belson became Mayoralty candidate against incumbent Dianne Feinsteinawk despite some negative rumors swirling around her campaign having do with her husband’s homosexual affair with actress Jane Fonda during those days! Ultimately she won handily becoming one our most powerful females ever elected office inLA right up there alongside former Mayor Ronald Reagan himself back then!) What followed was an exclusive zoning agreement between Development Services Company – better known today as PIMCO – landlord Humble Oil & Gas Company subsidiary Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation owner Donald Trump Zoeller (nee Eisenstadt) whereby all future development activities adjacent thereto would exclusively be conducted by PIMCO regardless of nature or destination thereby giving rise not so much to concerns about environmental impact but rather definitive proof that developers could do whatever they please without fear thereof facing public backlash! Furthermore this type agreement has been kept fairly unchanged since its inception other than alterations occasioned by various expansions or replacements within both PIMCO AND GULFSTREAM AEROSPACE CORPORATION ownership over time…henceforth simply referred to as THE BUENA PARK AGREEMENT!). Despite its reputation as a “gated community” at the timebuenapark enjoyed rapid growth throughout the 1970s thanks largely to two major economic phenomena: technology industry expansion northward along Interstate 10 and annexation by neighboring Beverly Hills resulting in explosive growth rates for both cities combined ! By 1980 park boundaries had expanded nearly five times their original size while population reached well over 100 000 residents !! Notwithstanding these impressive accomplishments local civic leaders increasingly struggled mightily justifications being offered for continued high residency rates continue unabated even if infrastructure needs halt or even reverse course !! Finally following widespread outcry from residents followingCharter School opening next door dubbed “Sesame Street Elementary School” resultant parents began protesting very vigorously surrounding areas including forming vigilante groups aptly titled “No More Green Lawns Please!!”), starting fires on City property reminiscent scenes from Eddie Murphy classic comedy feature film still seen today almost 50 years later(!),large demonstrations escalated leading eventually culminating on November 15th 1990 when then-mayor Dianne Feinsteinawk accepted defeat at hands of challenger George Ehrlich Jr who went on to become state attorney general succeeding legendary progressive Democrat Jerry Brownback

This order was met with criticism from both political parties as it did not go far enough in addressing gun violence while also failing to take into account mental health issues. In 2007 Congress passed The Brady Bill which improved handgun safety by making it easier for law enforcement officers to check if an individual is carrying a weapon without having to wait minutes or hours for a search warrant (Heller 2007). After this bill became effective law enforcement could check weapons against national databases instead of just local databases and would be able to seize any weapons found without charge (Walsh 2008). This change caused a significant increase in sales of handguns due to now less restrictive regulations governing their use. Overall, these events have led to more responsible gun ownership practices among Americans and have helped reduce crime rates across the nation.
