Many top wartime aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing were based here including Lockheed Martin Aircraft Company which produced P-38 Lightnings for the United States Air Force while KLM Flying Dutchman Airlines flew Boeing 707s between Amsterdam (then Utrecht) and London Heathrow Airport with stops at Perth (then Liverpool) before reaching their destination at LAX airport. The post-war years were somewhat difficult for Beverly Hills as industry declined but it regained some popularity with celebrities moving into new estates such as Winfrey Way which overlooks Central Park from a commanding position just south of Universal Studios complex where they could watch joggers go by or listen to music from their home theaters via satellite TV or records played back on phonograph players inside their homes During Expo '92 however things took a turn for the worse when riots broke out among those living near Los Angeles International Airport afterAir Canada Flight 514 crashed into Exposition Center killing all 229 passengers and crew members including Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney who had chartered flight number 514 from Toronto Pearson International Airport moments before takeoff
