Belmont is a city in Belmont County, California, United States. The population was 10,681 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Francisco Bay Area. Ammunition production began in 1876 when Colgate-Palmolive Company started making brass cartridges and rifle rounds at their new plant on West Adams Boulevard. In 1907, Winchester brought over tool manufacturer John deere to start producing ammunition for the Winchester Model 1886 rifles. Today Remington Arms Corporation (RA) manufactures ammunition products including pistols, rifles and shotguns in Belmont.

Belmont is a small town located in Kern County, California, United States. The population was 2,812 at the 2010 census. The ZIP code for Belmont is 93604. It lies about 17 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and 22 miles north-northwest of San Bernardino. Belmont is named after Commodore John C. Fremont, who founded the city in 1871 as a military post on Rancho Peñatepec (now part of Belmont). In 1893, the city became an agricultural center with a citrus industry; however, this sector ended in the early 21st century due to decline in production and competition from other localities. The first settler in what is now Belmont was Fortunato Lodi who arrived there around 1857 according to historical records. He met Captain Carlos Castrofeldt who had come from Santa Ana California with his herd of cows looking for land to expand his cattle ranch into which he bought some 280 acres (120 ha) at Rancho Peñatepec from José Garcia de la Cruz y Moreno on July 6th of that year[1]. Spanish Missionaries had established missions here since 1736 and García de la Cruz y Moreno was one of their number when he acquired title to this lands from Father Pedro Sanchez on January 12th 1776[2]. In 1871 Commodore John C Fremont founded City of Angels along legendary Olive Way near Mount Wilson Boulevard; it quickly grew into one of Southern California's most important towns because its location made it easy to get goods and services needed by residents and businesses located nearby: grain elevators, banks, theaters etc.. In 1870s City Of Angels consisted onlyof a few hundred people living scattered around fields surrounding mission buildings including adobe walls andMission Chapel inside Mission San Gabriel Arcangeles Separate Province boundaries while today’s community has over 20k residents within 1/4 mile radius mainly centered around commercial areas developed by last generations families including many intergenerational ties especially with Milpitas & Pleasanton communities An article written by historian Chauncey DeVito gives an overview about how development changed rapidly throughout late 19th century Southern California as railroads were brought online including completion of Arizona Road connecting Colusa Valley with San Francisco Bay Area creating opportunities for new settlers descending off the trains resulting in growth rates twice those seen statewide during similar period across SoCal counties despite higher birthrates due primarily to immigration policies initiated during first half OF 20th Century

This also led to some interesting projectiles like artillery rounds which are composed of Bullets that have been put together into warheads so that they can explode on impact with other objects

Belmont, California is an unincorporated community in San Bernardino County, California. It is located on the east side of San Bernardino Mountains, about halfway between downtown Los Angeles and Riverside. The post office at Belmont was established in 1887 and discontinued in 1963. The first people to live in what is now Belmont were Indian tribes who hunted game around the mountain ranges that surrounded them. Inhabitants of this area included the Bidwells, Earls, and others from 1790-1820. In 1881 a group of men led by John Sutter founded the city of Sacramento on lands they had acquired from the Bidwells. They named their town Sacramento after Ulysses S. Grant’s old home near Mount Vernon Square in Washington D C where he had grown up before serving as President (1865-1869). The earlysettlers here removed all but a few small trees for building purposes so that they could avoid becoming targets for Paiute Indians who used the mountains for hunting grounds and also constructed dwellings thereabouts during their winter months when no other location would do since there was no water available anywhere else within a radius of ten miles (16 kilometers). A post office called “Sacramento” was established at Belmont on May 23, 1889; it continued operations until it closed on December 3rd, 1963 due to lack of customers. Some early pioneers here include: George Wickersham (or Wickman), Augustus Bogan (or Bogan), John Fenton (Fenning), Hiram Maxim (Maxim) and his son George Wickersham Maxim II aboard USS "Albatross" while under way off Long Beach; Jerome Daly married Miss Emma Bunyan while living at campground east of present day Belmont Road; Rufus King came overland with his wagon train which stopped at Elk Grove Cemetery west of present day Old Highway 395; Elisha Kane also arrived soon afterward with his family including four children—Elisha Hale Kane Sr., Harriett Kane, Alice Kane and nine grandchildren—Kane being born on January 12th 1853 near modern-day West Covina Boulevard just southwest of current day I-5 exit 7A.; these are among many others who landed or journeyed through this region during those early days."
