The company’s first product was a leather holster designed specifically for the Browning Hi-Power rifle. The Bellflower Holster Company continued to produce high quality holsters until it merged with another company in 1961. That company, the Gunbroker Corporation, produced some of the most popular handguns in America and continues to make holsters today.

Bellflower is a small town in Kern County, California, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. Bellflower is located on the east side of the Kern River and it is bordered by Menifee to the south, Saugus to the west and Isabella to the north. The name "Bellflower" was given to the community by telephone company employees who were trying to come up with a name for a new town in Kern County that would be adjacent to their new headquarters building in Menifee. The workers came up with this name because they thought bell flowers (a type of daisy) grew abundantly in that area. The first post office opened in Bellflower on November 15, 1907. The community was named after Mrs. Florence Atherton-Lambert, wife of General George Armstrong Lambert II., one of Bellflower's first residents. Bellevue Avenue became an important artery through downtown Bellflower during its early years; however, by 1915 Bellevue had been renamed Vine Street after one of its early settlers, Wm D’Angelo Jr.. On July 1, 1984, much of what is now downtown developed as part of an effort called “The Great Transformation” which aimed to upgrade infrastructure and create more jobs across all aspects of society in order to revitalize downtown streetscape and revive businesses along them

Bellflower is a small town located in the Mojave Desert of Southern California. The population was 1,949 at the 2010 census. It is one of fourteen communities in Mono County, and it is within the Mojave National Preserve. The first Europeans to visit Bellflower were Mexican traders on their way down the San Andreas Fault in 1820. In 1842, Captain Lorenzo Menéndez de Avilés named it San Fernando de la Paloma after his patron saint, and he built a small mission here that served as a trading center for Mission San Fernando Rey de Los Angeles (later Santa Fe) until1859. In 1864, President Abraham Lincoln signed into law the Indian Removal Act which led to the displacement of more than 100,000 Native American people from their homes in this region. Many of these people took up residence in what would become Bellflower. In 1868 local farmers decided to build a pipeline to bring water from Spring Valley upriver and sell it to residents downstream. This became known as "The Water War". The townsfolk fought unsuccessfully against this development for years until finally giving up in 1903 when they realized that there would be no water available without construction. The first post office opened at Bellflower on April 15, 1911; it was renamed Lone Pine on July 5 of that year due to its location remote from other growing towns nearby by then. The first kindergarten was opened here also on July 5th; it operated out of an old flour mill building which had been converted into a schoolhouse during the war years when all schools serving Mono County were closed because Ofi
