On January 26, 1875, a group of men from Bellingham, Washington founded the American Arms Manufacturing Association (AAMA) to improve the production and distribution of firearms. The AAMA quickly became successful in developing new techniques for manufacturing firearms and selling them to consumers. In 1917, the AAMA merged with the National Firearms Act Federation (NFAF) to become the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NRA was instrumental in creating America's gun culture and helping make firearms an integral part of American society. In addition to their role in firearm regulation, the NRA also donated millions of dollars to charitable organizations throughout America. Today, the NRA remains one of America's most powerful lobby organizations and is responsible for protecting Second Amendment rights across all 50 states. With over 2 million member affiliates nationwide, this organization has a significant impact on public opinion and policymaking around guns nationally.

The Bell Rifle and Pistol Club was founded in 1903 by two men, Leo L. Tilton and George W. Knight, as a group of riflemen who were interested in the protection of their community from bandits and other criminals. The club became a outlaw shooting organization responsible for numerous arrests and convictions over the years. With the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, gun enthusiasts throughout California began to buy more firearms in anticipation of potential regulation. In 1934, the Bell Rifle & Pistol Club merged with the El Sobrante Rifle Association to form the National Rifle Association (NRA). This merger signaled a shift towards stricter gun laws within America, which would continue through both World Wars until finally being repealed in 1968.
Alice Bell was born on a small family farm near Rosicrucian Lodge in 1871. Her father, John Bell, was an itinerant preacher who would stop at the lodge to preach on his way from one town to another. Alice and her mother, Lucy, were the only children. In 1879, when Alice was eight years old, her parents died in a wagon accident while traveling through Arizona Territory. Alice and her brother joined their father as he ministered to the local Mormon community. For three years (1881-83), Alice attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah; however, she decided against studying theology after being influenced by Methodist missionaries who showed her how easy it was for women to receive education in that institution. When she returned to Rosicrucian Lodge in 1885 after two years at BYU, she found that the lodge had disbanded and all of its members had emigrated to Salt Lake City. She met John Bell there and they married on October 15th of that year. The couple settled on a small ranch near nearby Independence Pass where they raised six children: four sons and two daughters. JohnBell served as bishop of the Rosicrucian Order from 1907-1921; during this time period he also founded numerousRosicrucian Societies throughout California including those engaged in Conservative Christianity (ROSICRUCE CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN SOCIETY OF CALIFORNIA) and Freemasonry (ROsicrucians FREEMASONRY ORDINANCE Society). From 1921-1925 he served as President of Western States Masonic Association which coordinated all masonic activities within California includingRosicrucian lodges across the state plus Nevada and Oregon . During these years he also helped create many Masonic publications such as "The Western States Masonry Journal"and "The Occult Review". He has been described as one of America's most prominent masons with an extensive knowledge of both masonicism AND occultism dating back over 50 YEARS! In 1928 Mrs. Bell retired from farming due to age limitations but continued living on theirranch until her death in 1984 at 96 years old.) Her husband passed away five years later at 86years old.) Their four surviving sons continue operations on the ranch today with their daughter passing away last year.)

Bell, California is a city located in the San Bernardino County of Southern California on the border of Riverside and Cathedral City. The population was 71,521 at the 2010 census. The name “Bell” comes from two sources: First, it is thought that John Wesley Bell, one of the founders of SDSU, may have named his school after a bell he saw in London. Second, because there were only 8 miles (12 km) of water between San Bernardino and Riverside counties at the time Bell founded SDSU, he decided to locate his new school on land that would offer easy access to both cities. The first building constructed in Bell was an adobe-style mission built in 1853 as part of Rancho Santa Anita near what is now downtownSan Bernardino. In 1872, when rancho Santa Anita became public land and was opened up for farming operation by George Cascio and others under the provisions of Mexican Land Act), it became known as Rancho San Bernardino de las Pulgas (later renamed Rancho San Bernardino). On May 12th 1882 by mutual agreement between George Cascio, Sr., James Hahneman and Wm Murchison (the founder/director/owner/managerof freeways Raynham & Arroyo) all parties involved with early development within what are today downtownSan Bernardino; these include Leland Stanford Jr., father of Stanford University; James Irvine; Hahneman’s brother Donald Irvine; Jefree Taylor (founder/director/ Owner – later owner /operator – Sonoma Raceway); Cyrus Vance (Mayor pro tem for Los Angeles City Council from 1969-1970); Eileen Deuel Kappenberg (presidential candidate for Californication Incumbent Ronald Reagan from 1984-1988));[1] rancher Fred Kappenberg donated 5 acres east side of Streetsboro Road which included present day El Toro Boulevard to be used as open space opposite current site where original mission building now stands
