Beaumont, California is a city located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, California. The population was 102,856 at the 2010 census. It is home to La Quinta High School and Beaumont Army Ammunition Plant, which both produce ammunition for American firearms. The first ammunition factory in Beaumont was built in 1876 by David Dixon and partners. The city's first firearm manufacturer was also founded there in 1876 by Dixon and partners. In 1912, the company merged with Winchester Repeating Arms Company to create Winchester Arms Company. In 1934, Winchester Arms Company merged with Rock Island Arsenal Company to become Rock Island Armory Corporation. The company was sold to Remington Arms Company in 1989 and became Remington Western Ammunition Corporation. The plant closed in 1995 and all of its products were retired from production that year. In 2000, the plant reopened as La Quinta Army Ammunition Plant under the name of Beaumont Armory Ammunition Inc., producer of rimfire rounds only. Today, the plant produces 7mm NATO ammo as well as other calibers including 5 mm cartridges for use with rifles such as Ruger 10/22s and AR-15s.

Beaumont is a city in San Joaquin County, California, United States. The population was 997 at the 2010 census. It is the main town of Stanislaus County and one of its two county seats. The other county seat is Petaluma. The name "Beaumont" was given to the settlement by Pierre-Antoine Beaumont after visiting the area in 1769 on his way from Louisiana to Monterey Bay. After it became part of Californio territory in 1821, Beaumont grew rapidly as people began migrating from the east for ranching and mining opportunities in what is now central California. In 1872, General Marcy sold most of Rancho Seco to John Sutter for $15 million; Beaumont's role then was primarily that of post office and stagecoach stop on the new route. In 1915, when Stanislaus County was created, Beaumont became its first county seat; it has since been moved several times. The current courthouse building was built in 1928 and dedicated by Mayor Harry Lahrstrom. In 1969, construction started on an adjacent park which included a large shopping mall (the old downtown), four blocks north of the original courthouse site. This project led to many protests by local residents who were concerned about traffic congestion and how it would affect their neighborhoods

Beaumont is a city in San Bernardino County, California. Beaumont was founded in 1873 by Captain John C. Fremont as the town of Fremont on the north side of Rancho Niguel, which he acquired from Mission Santa Ana de las Palmas de Tustin. The name "Beaumont" originated from the French word Beaufort, meaning "beautiful place." Fremont became an agricultural center with a large number of citrus fruits and vegetables grown by farmers Tom and Jackie McClure. A small hotel was built in 1907 to serve travelers visiting Rancho Niguel. In 1916, Beaumont incorporated as a city under the name of Commerce City. At that time it had a population of about 100 people. The first post office was established in 1922 with Fenton as the mailing address. The city's growth continued through World War II when businesses grew around shipbuilding and aircraft manufacturing; however, most development stopped after 1945 when Los Angeles took over much of San Bernardino County including Beaumont. The last resident to leave Beaumont was Arturo Larios in 1978; however, many businesses have continued to be operated in the city since then such as Atwater Village Shop which opened its doors in 1974 and is still going strong today! In recent years there has been revitalization efforts being made to bring life back into downtown areas such as Main and Second Streets which are known for their Arts District program where local artists create art galleries, murals and public sculptures throughout downtown BeaumONT There are also plans underway for a new library/museum complex located adjacent to Pico Boulevard called “The Bailey Building” which will house both a library (with more than 20 million items) and an arts museum (containing more than 4500 items). This project is scheduled for completion late 2020 or early 2021
