The family Shotgun Shop was located on Market Street just east of downtown and was run by Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy’s father, Joe. From this small start,guns were enjoyed by all in the area and ammunition prices were very affordable which helped spur the growth of the store over time. Firearms sales continued to grow during the 1960’s as more Americans got interested in and/or needed to own firearms for personal protection purposes. In 1969, when Joe died suddenly, his wife Mary took over running the shop with her husband’s help until his death in 1998 at age 89 years old. In those 9 years, Mrs. Mary had Inherited all of their father’s business acumen and knowledge as well as some of his original shotguns from when he started the business back in 1961 which gave her even more impetus to continue expanding and improving upon what they had already established at their shop- both inside and outside of it! Over time various rifles (including handguns) have been added to their inventory but shotguns remain favorites due to their versatile nature; they can be used for many different types of shooting including Deer hunting, Fishing tournaments, Gamefishing outings etc., making them perfect gifts or presents for friends or family members! The Breechcloth allowed shooters to fire cannonballs without having their arms wet from rain or snowflakes falling on them while firing Cannonball ammunition from longbows or Long Swords (atlatls). Breechclothes became popular because they offered great protection against arrows, but also caused some problems since they would often get caught on trees when hiking or hunting, potentially trapping an animal inside the garment which could then be killed by either gunshot wounds or entanglement in webbing/cordage around their body
