With these advances comes increased danger when using firearms – particularly those utilizing rotating barrels such as handguns and rifles – as this can cause projectiles from one part of the weapon to miss another part entirely, potentially causing serious injury or death if not corrected immediately. As such, efforts have been made over time tooto prevent these types of injuries from occurring by making sure certain parts of firearms are less susceptible to accidental rotation or torque damage.
