The company quickly became successful and produced high-quality munitions at a low cost. In 1938, the company moved to its current location on Main Street in downtown Anderson. The building has been preserved and is now home to the Historical Museum of Ammunition. The ammo plant played an important role in Anderson’s history and economy during both World War 1 and World War 2. It produced munitions for both sides of the conflict, making it one of the most significant businesses in town after World War 2 ended. The ammo plant closed down in 1978 but was saved by local activists who converted it into a museum dedicated to ammunition history!

In 1880, American Railroad built a line from Bakersfield through Anderson and called it the Pacific Railway (PRR). This line later became part of Union Pacific Corporation. In 1912, Edwin Forbes started a clothing store on Main Street in town which became known as Forbes & Company. By 1916, the store had grown so large that it moved to its current location on Third Street near today's high school campus. In 1924/25, local resident Earle Condon organized and held an agricultural fair at Fairgrounds Park to raise money for his war veteran father-in-law's new farm home east of town; this event remains one of the most important community events in Anderson history today! In 1957/58 when Highway 395 was being constructed through central Kern County between Bakersfield and San Bernardino County (then unincorporated), many small communities along the route were destroyed by landslides caused by rains that year during winter storms – one such community was Anderson! Upon reanalysis of those slides years later it was determined that much of what had been destroyed likely never would have avalanche if only village leaders had taken some preventative measures back then! Consequently funding for such future projects has always been difficult to come by butAnderson makes up for lost time with its rich history!

When both methods failed...a clubbed shot called a bane would be used” (Howe). Bombs were another form of ammunition that was developed during medieval times with different goals than just destroying targets/enemies on the battlefield. Bombs were originally designed as delivery vehicles for poison gas or incendiary munitions so that large areas could be destroyed quickly without having too much collateral damage ( Carter ). However, this proved difficult because bombs often exploded prematurely or when they reached their destination unintendedly due to their design ( Howe ). As a result, bombe
