Agoura Hills, located in the San Fernando Valley of California, is a well-known enclave within Los Angeles County. The population of Agoura Hills was estimated to be over 100,000 during the early 21st century. It is home to many high-end businesses and residences as well as a number of popular tourist attractions. The area has been inhabited by Native Americans for centuries and today there are several small villages situated in the hills. The first Europeans to visit Agoura Hills were Spanish explorers in 1795. They named the area Santa Monica after Saint Monica, Italy where they had decided to rest before continuing their journey eastward. In 1802, General Mariano Crespo arrived in what is now Agoura Hills and founded the Rancho Palos Verdes on the east side of Mount Wilson Boulevard. This rancho was later renamed Rancho Laguna Seca due to its location near Lake Arrowhead and its proximity to Interstate 10. In 1894, John D’Anson bought land at what is now Slauson Avenue and Fair Oaks Road from José Joaquin Balboa y Sáenz de la Garza for $2 million dollars. D’Anson built his first house on this property in 1895 which he called "Granada". He soon acquired additional land around it including present day Calabasas Drive and started developing it into an upscale residential community with mansions, golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools and other associated amenities. D'Angelo Enterprises Incorporated was incorporated in 1925 by Antonio D'Angelo who also owned interests in Hollywood studios Paramount Pictures Corporation and United Artists Corporation at that time. This company purchased a controlling interest in RKO Radio Pictures (later known as ABC) which then made movies under the name Paramount Productions until 1957 when it became Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG). AEG merged with Time Warner Incorporated in 1989 creating Turner Broadcasting System (TBS). TBS then became CNNfn which was spun off from TBS Holdings LLC upon Turner Broadcasting System's acquisition of Time Warner's TNT cable channel assets prior to Turner Broadcasting System's merger with Comcast Cablevision plc on May 5th 2014 for $45 billion . Agoura Hills is a city located in the Santa Clara County, California area. The population was 24,827 at the 2000 census. It has a rich agricultural history dating back to 1847 when it was part of Rancho San Pablo. The city currently occupies 8,513 acres (3,970 hectares) of land and is home to more than 20 businesses and 2 million people. Agoura Hills also has a strong military presence with two United States Army posts within its boundaries. The first Europeans to visit what is now Agoura Hills were Juan Bautista de Anza and his party on January 12, 1769 who sighted Mount Hamilton from their ship "Nuestra Senora", while sailing through the straits between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. On July 25, 1847, Mexican forces under Colonel José Joaquin Cisneros destroyed an American rancho called Rancho San Pablo east of present day Agoura Hills after capturing its owner John Sutter during the Mexican-American War. This event led to much development in what would become known as “the North Side” of town although development continued on the south side until after World War II when that portion became known as “the South Side” due to changes in zoning laws which favored southern developers over northside residents. In 1850 Captains Emory Cook and Nathaniel Bowditch explored Channel Islands off Ventura County while exploring Route 101 near today’s downtown Agoura Hills for trade purposes only; they left no documentation or evidence that they ever landed on any islands other than those close by their shipwreck site which still remains unidentified today nearly 150 years later! These days there are several theories about how this happened: one suggests that one of Captain Cook's crew members may have mistaken one of these newly discovered islands for an Isla De las Cañas [Island of Cups], another theory suggests that Calafia [a large island west of Catalina Island] might have been mistakenly identified as an Isla De las Cañas by mistake because it was not shown on any Spanish maps made during that time period – either because it had never been mapped nor mentioned in any contemporary accounts or because he did not believe it could be reached from Ventura Harbor despite being described as such by manymapsmakers including himself! Eventually both captains' Ships were foundered off Point Mugu about 120 miles northeast of Los Angeles Beach on October 11th 1830 without leading anyone ashore so we can finally put some closure to this mystery! In spite of all this history however no archaeological evidence has ever been found documenting either captain's visit or even indicating whether or not they actually landed anywhere!' Aguaras Creek originates outcropping near where Interstate 5 meets US 101 just outside present day Agoura Hills limits; approximately 15 minutes walk from Dogpatch Boulevard/Highway 237 intersection & 10 minutes walk from Redwood City-East Palo Alto arterial/US 101 exit. Humans began domestication/useof plants & animals around 12700 BP according to core samples taken from Folsom Formation along creek bed surface adjacent creek banks - oldest possibly wildflower data collected here dates back 6500 BP according to analysis done at University Of California Museum Of Paleontology!!
