Agoura Hills is a city in northern California and the seat of Ventura County. It lies on the border of Ventura and Santa Clarita counties, about 15 miles (24 km) east of downtown Los Angeles. The population was 92,827 at the 2010 census. As one of the most affluent cities in Southern California, Agoura Hills has been home to some of Hollywood's most famous celebrities and other top-tier businesspeople. The first ammunition factory in what is now Agoura Hills was built by Hiram Maxim in 1892. Ammunition production began around 1903 when George Washingtons president Grover Cleveland ordered an increase in military forces due to Americas entry into World War I. In 1907, ammunition manufacturer Julius Kapp purchased a small amount of land adjacent to his old munitions plant in Ventura for a new factory that would produce high-quality rounds for his rifles and shotguns. The name for the new facility was "National Ammunition Plant". The plant produced rounds under various brand names until it changed its name to "ArmaLite" in 1949 after ArmaLite became majority owner of National Ammunition Corporation (NAC). NAC merged with Winchester Repeating Arms Company (WRAC) in 1960 to form Winchester Incorporated (WINC). With WRAC merger came rifle manufacturing operations as well as production of ballistics data software which later became known as Millett Instruments Incorporated During World War II, Agoura Hills played host to a large number of military personnel barracks including Camp Edwards which housed up to 3,000 soldiers/airmen at any given time. During peacetime, these barracks were used by local civilians but during wartime they became an important part of Military Base housing over 10,000 people including many celebrities who gathered there for events like dances and movie screenings

Agoura Hills, California is a small city located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles County, California. The city was founded in 1887 by George Agoura and his family. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 606 people. The name " Agoura" comes from the Egyptian god Amun and means "place where there are trees." The first settlers in what is now Agoura Hills were George Agoura and his siblings John and Martha. In 1887, George purchased 640 acres (253 hectares) on the east side of town from Pemberton Greaves for $5,000. He named the propertyAgoura Hills after his mother's last name. At that time, most residents in Los Angeles County lived on either Mission or Santa Monica Streets because those were the only routes to open land north of downtownLos Angeles. In 1890 when construction began on the new Pasadena Freeway (now I-10), many people who live near downtownPasadena took advantage of Highway 10 being routed through their neighborhoods to get to workarriving southbound at 5:00am before traffic became congested on Bunker Hill Road which led northeast to Pasadena Avenue. Because they could not get down Bunker Hill Road they decided to take an alternate route that connected with Pasadena Boulevard via Milton Avenue and Vine Street. This bypass configuration allowed these early residents access to jobs at nearby Bell Laboratories while also allowing them some privacy since no cars Cicada or Mercury rental licenses could be seen parked anywhere near them during this time period

Agoura Hills, California is a small city in the Central Valley of California. It is located on the east side of the San Joaquin River, about 25 miles (40 km) south of Fresno and 50 miles (80 km) north of Stockton. The population was 19,846 at the 2010 census. Agoura Hills is part of the Fresno-San Joaquin County, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town started as a small farming community in 1887 on land given to them by Judge Amos Kendall for development into a village. The name Agoura was chosen because it sounded like "aguardia" or "guardian angel," which was oneController's version of an early Indian name for this area. The first post office was established in 1892 with James J. Duffy as its first mailer. A general store opened in 1904 and became known as The Grapeseed Store and then again as The Merchants Exchange until 1959 when it changed its name to The agoura Hills Post Office
