These models were also made out of brass or silver alloyed steel wire frames with a polished black finish and featured diamond-pattern grille lenses on each side of the lens barrel assembly. American Binoculors Ltd.' products continued production until 1840 when they merged with another company named Union Optics Company to form American Optics Corporation (AOC). AOC produces current day binocular designs that include both digital watches and telescopes!

Van Buren is a town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 2,711 at the 2010 census. The first white people to come to Van Buren were James and Elizabeth Cook who arrived on July 5, 1836. They built a cabin on the banks of the White River. In 1839, John Sowell settled in Van Buren and started an oil well near what is now Old Hite Boulevard. In 1840, Nathaniel Pryor set up a store in town. In 1847, Jno. Purdy established a gristmill in Van Buren which continued operation until 1896. On December 1, 1860, members of the Methodist Episcopal Church organized as the First Methodist Church of Arkansas with Reverend Wm. Murchison as their first pastor. The church held services at Gideon's Island until it moved to its current location on White River within three years of its founding date (July 6th 1862). Reverend Wm . Murchison served for more than fifty years as pastor of First Methodist Church of Arkansas before his death on September 3rd 1935. His wife Revess Mrs . Harlan served as minister from 1865 until her death in 1944 and afterwards graduated from Emory University School Of Divinity where she received her degree cum laude in 1948 summa cum laude with an emphasis in Historical Thought and Writing After serving for many years as an assistant professor at Randolph-Macon College; Mrs . Harlan retired from teaching full time after twenty-sixyear term therein and died Thereon October 15th 1976 aged eighty four Years Nine Months Three Days after having been active In The Presbyterian Churches Of Arkansas Since Her arrival At Randolph Macon
