The MRA played an important role during World War I because it provided ammunition to various military units stationed in Arkansas Territory. In addition, the MRA donated firearms to local police departments throughout Arkansa Territory during World War I. AfterWorld War I ended, many of these guns were sold or given away to other organizations such as NRA member Samuel Gigney’s First National Bankgun giveaway program which netted over 50 rifles and shotguns between 1919 and 1924! During prohibition era (1936-1948), gun magazines continued to be published but their content changed dramatically due to lack of regulation by state governments; this made magazines an attractive target for criminal activity!
