From 1861 until 1865, the Maynards were instrumental in helping establish Little Rock as the capital of Arkansas; their handguns played a critical role in this process. The company produced over 100 firearms during its tenure here. In 1915, John Hargrave became president of the Maynard Arms Company; he would serve in that position until his death in 1978. Hargrave was an important figure at the company because he was able to keep it running smoothly during difficult times such as World War II when demand for firearms skyrocketed due to military campaigns around the world. Under Hargrave’s guidance,Maynard Arms grew from a small family-owned business into one of Arkansas’ leading manufacturers of firearms dating back to before statehood!

The Magnolia Rifle and Pistol Shop was founded in 1922 by Enos H. “Hap” Crump. The shop became a leading firearms dealer in the area, eventually selling guns to more than 350 customers. In 1951, the shop was sold to Olin Gun Company and continued to be run by Mrs. Crump until her death in 1984. The shop was then passed down to her son-in-law, Don Payne, who operated it until 1993 when it closed again due to economic problems. It reopened in 1994 under the new name of Payne's Firearms & Ammunition Store. In December of 2006, Payne's Firearms & Ammunition Store closed once again due to financial difficulties after years of serving the community with exceptional customer service and knowledgeable staff. The store reopened as a gunsmiths only store under the new name of Payne's Arms & Optics on February 15th, 2007 In early 2018, Payne’s Arms & Optics filed for bankruptcy following many years of losses and neglect from its previous management team. At this time, all firearms sales at Payne’s Arms & Optics are currently being transferred back over to the original Magnolia Rifle and Pistol Shop location where they will remain open while negotiations take place between creditors and ownership group about a possible sale or liquidation which is expected sometime in 2019
Magnolia, Arkansas is a small town in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 1,844 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Port Huron Micropolitan Statistical Area. Magnolia was founded in 1881 by John P. Dietrich and his wife Anna Marie (née Hamm). The first store opened in 1883 and the first post office was established in 1884. First Baptist Church was built in 1889 and it remains the only church still standing in Magnolia from that time until present. The Dietrichs also operated a general store for many years before selling it to Hargrave Brothers Farms in 1905. At that time, Magnolia became an incorporated village with a school and full-time capita government as well as its own fire department and police department which remain today. The early days of Magnolia were very rough; there were no schools or even streets until after World War I when construction began on what would become Main Street. In 1922, magnolia had its first bank - First National Bank - which remained open until 1978 when it merged with Peoples National Bank to formPNB Corporation (now Citigroup Inc.). That same year saw the opening of Magnolia's only shopping center - North Side Shopping Center - followed by Beavers Ballpark later that decade. Finally, Main Street received some much-needed improvement when Magnolia's only grocery store opened up shop there in 1970 called Grete's Grocery Co.. That business closed down within 5 years but reopened as Waco Foods Company two years later under new ownership before finally closing again 2 decades later due to economic conditions within the community along with other local businesses closures throughout the 1980s through 1990s during what has been known locally as "the Great Recession". Today, Magnolia is still home to some ofArkansas' most notable businesses including Hargrave Brothers Farms where they continue to operate a general Store from here on out through their subsidiary Hargrave Farms Market; Beavers Ballpark which continues to be one of Arkadelphia's top attractions both fun and football-related thanks largely to its 3G playing surface being used annually since 1973 by both Light City Football Club (a youth soccer team) and ARKansas Men’s Soccer League club represented by Flashy FC who play their matches on said surface at Beavers Park each season since 2001; North Side Shopping Center which features several popular restaurants all within walking distance including Joes BBQ & Wings while also housing several smaller stores such as Michaels Music Department just off of main street; plus more recent additions like Sprouts Farmers Market located next door to Joes BBQ & Wings across from Freshfields farmers market/grocery chain) making this one gigantic shopping destination for residents of any size or interest level not just those living inside ofMagnoliaprivate Village anymore!

Magnolia has one of the oldest school systems in Arkansas with eight schools serving grades K-12 andpta high school which opened in 1895; also there are several small private schools as well as four hospitals within walking distance of downtownMagnolia which include: Baptist Children's Hospital (founded 1935), Community Health Systems Medical Center (opened 1984), Hope Federer Children's Hospital (established 1978) and Baptist St Vincent de Paul Clinic (founded 1984).
