The Little Rock Arsenal, also known as the Little Rock Armory, was a gunsmiths and armorers shop in downtown Little Rock. It was located at 400 Mulberry Street. In 1911, it was acquired by Samuel Colt & Company who continuing to use it until 1924 when the company closed its doors. It reopened as an armory under the name of Colt Armory from 1928-1929 before being renamed again to the Little Rock Arsenal in 1931. The arsenal remained active until 1959 when it closed its doors due to budget cuts within the American Defense League (ADL). In 1961, ADL moved their headquarters to Fort Smith and the arsenal reopened as an armory once again under that name until itclosed again in 1984.
