The company offered lens, prism, and viewer products. They also manufactured nightlights, children's toys, and other items used in day-to-day life. In 1925, the Optical Instrument Company merged with the American Television Manufacturing Company to become American Optics Corporation (AOC). AOC manufactured televisions and other types of electronic equipment throughout the 1930s and 1940s. During World War II, AOC produced military optics for use by the United States Army Signal Corps. In 1945, AOC merged with General Electric to form GE Lighting Corporation. This company became one of America's leading electrical contractors throughout the postwar period. By 1970, GE Lighting had developed an extensive line of lighting products including window screens, door catches/locks, light switches, CFLs (crystal clear lights), LED (light emitting diodes) lights,, motion detectors,,and many more! There is no definitive history of optical accessories in Little Rock, Arkansas. However, there are brief references to such items from the early 1900s onward. Optical equipment was introduced to Little Rock in 1881 when a group of entrepreneurs donated an old steamboat engine for the city's firstlight house. The first municipal building in Little Rock was erected on Commercial Street (now First Avenue) and housed a small store run by one of the early merchants, John Heninger. In 1883, the town council passed an ordinance establishing a public library and providing for free reading materials for citizens. This encouraged people to use libraries as places to buy books and other supplies necessary for their personal civic development. In 1889, local entrepreneur Augustus Cushing established a dry goods store at Seventh and Broadway Streets. He soon became known for his wide variety of optical products, including telescopes, lenses, spectacles, microscopes and binoculars. By 1902 Cushing had moved his business to what is now Union Station Boulevard outside of town limits; he continued selling optical equipment until his death in 1922. In 1912 Commerce City Electric Light Company opened its first lightstation in downtown Little Rock; it would become one of the company's most important operations over time. That same year also saw the opening of the Arkansas School Book Depository on Third Street between Clinton Avenue and Main Street; this book depository would be used extensively throughout Arkansas' history as both a place where books were stored during periods of war or civil unrest (e.g., during Reconstruction), as well as being home to various government offices (e.g., state capitol). One significant purchaser of optic equipment during this period was The Gilde Glass Works located on Second Street just north of Interstate 10; this company manufactured lens typesetting machines used by newspapers throughout America beginning in the 1920s before becoming defunct in the 1970s due to concerns about environmental hazards associated with glass manufacturing The post-World War II era witnessed several major changes within Arkansas' economy which directly affected optics industry: 1) The growth in agriculture following World War II led to increased demand for agricultural inputs such as water and fertilizer; 2) There was also increased competition among manufacturers resulting in greater innovation within each sector - leading ultimately to more accurate product performance - with resultant improvements across alliatorialategories 3) Additionally, advancements made through technological advances – such as digital photography – began making traditional photo printing processes more efficient which then led to increased sales opportunities for dealers who now could offer photographers higher quality prints without having to go through expensive print shops

Little Rock was founded in 1865 by Arkansas Territorial Governor James K. Polk. The city was named after the Little Rock River, which flows through the area. Over time, Little Rock became a stronghold of the Democratic Party and a popular tourist destination. In 1941, the city joined the United States as an official city of color.
